The launch of the AMD Radeon RX 9070 and RX 9070 XT graphics cards has run into a snag, as some customers around the globe have reportedly had their preorders canceled within hours of release. AMD users took to social media to express their concerns as the company stated it would work with retailers and manufacturing partners to satisfy demand and keep prices at MSRP.

In late February, AMD pulled back the curtain on the price and release date of the Radeon RX 9070 and RX 9070 XT GPUs. Both cards utilize AMD’s next-generation RDNA4 graphics technology, focusing on closing the gap with Nvidia in upscaling and raytracing performance, of which the latter has dominated the market. Both cards feature 16 GB of GDDR6 video memory and multiple power connection options. The AMD Radeon RX 9070 and 9070 XT were priced at $549 and $599, respectively, though both MSRPs were before any tariffs or fees were factored into the cost.
