As many One Piece fans already expected, Blackbeard is gearing up to be one of the biggest threats at the end of the series. Through careful planning and a bit of brute force, Blackbeard has managed to rise through the ranks of the pirate world, becoming one of the most feared characters in the series thus far. However, due to his mysterious and crafty nature, little is known about Blackbeard’s endgame strategy and how he plans on taking the final treasure of One Piece with the series’ strongest characters, like Shanks and Luffy, standing directly in his way.

With Blackbeard making so many strange and questionable moves within the Final Saga of One Piece, many fans have wondered what Blackbeard’s overall plan for the ending of the series might be. With the Emperor making moves against both the World Government and his fellow pirates, the Emperor of the Sea, Blackbeard, feels like a wildcard with an infinite number of possibilities that he could pursue. Blackbeard Has Been Making Major Moves In One Piece’s Final Saga

He Plays The Game Of One Piece Different From Most Pirates

While many characters in One Piece’s Final Saga have had fairly straightforward journeys, mainly moving from one place to another to do things like finding the Poneglyphs of One Piece or capturing pirates, Blackbeard’s plan has been a bit more complicated. So far, Blackbeard has been tasking his crew with various missions throughout the New World, splitting into groups to complete certain elements of a larger plan. Some of the things that the crew have accomplished include kidnapping Pudding from the Big Mom Pirates, capturing the likeness of the Elder Saturn, and defeating the Heart Pirates in combat.

Some smaller things that the Blackbeard Pirates have been up to include stationing Laffitte to keep an eye on Umit’s Shipping Company, an important underworld shipping company that provides food for One Piece’s Mary Geoise. This shipping company had already been weakened and attacked by the Revolutionary Army, putting it in a vulnerable position. Finally, as many fans already know, Blackbeard’s final goal in One Piece is to form a kingdom of pirates that is officially sanctioned by the government.

Firstly, with Laffitte observing Umit’s Shipping Company, the pirate group may be attempting to overtake the operation, taking control of the supply chains that directly aid One Piece World Government. To do this, since the security of the shipping company may be tight after the Revolutionary attacks, they may need the assistance of Devon, utilizing the visage of a high-ranking World Government official in order to make the takeover much easier.

After taking over the shipping company, Blackbeard in One Piece would have direct control over some of the most important supply chains. The theorist then explains that he could approach the newly formed One Piece’s NEO MADS, the scientific pirate crew consisting of Caesar and Vinsmoke Judge, and employ them to create weapons that he could transport on his newly created supply chain. This may be especially easy to employ since there is a current void in the arms supply trade of One Piece with Doflamingo and Kaido being taken down.

This would force the World Government’s hand, making Blackbeard’s shipping the only viable option to once again create a consistent supply chain for Mary Geiose. From here, Blackbeard could use his leverage over the World Government to force them into letting him create his nation of pirates, officially fulfilling his dream.

In the end, this very well may be Blackbeard’s plan for his own kingdom in One Piece. Although there are plenty of reasons Blackbeard could be monitoring the global trade networks, this strategy fits well with the other operations of the Blackbeard Pirates. Hopefully, although it may not be during the Elbaf Arc, Blackbeard will enact his endgame plan in One Piece.
