Along with hunting monsters and making weapons or armour out of their body parts, food is an important part of the Monster Hunter series. Adorable Palicos cook up delectable meals that will buff you for your hunt. After the monsters, the devs undoubtedly put the most effort into the food – just look at the chaos the delicious looking cheese naan in Monster Hunter Wilds caused.

Monster Hunter Wilds Wouldn’t Be The Same With Health Bars
Capcom’s iconic series strives on the lack of showing an enemy’s remaining health.
These scenes are some of the best in the game, and have surely lived up to the bar that Grammeowster and Meowscular chef set in MH Worlds. However, in some unfortunate cases, the food cutscenes haven’t been showing up, making players miss some of the best scenes in the game. It seems Capcom is aware of this and will be fixing it in a future patch.
Monster Hunter Wilds’ Next Patch Will Fix Missing Food Scenes
Capcom has detailed the fices that will come with version 1.000.05.00, however, no release date for the update has been revealed. The first item mentioned on the list of issues is “The Meal Invitation event at Azuz and Sild does not occur on some occasions.” Players will be glad to know that the scene featuring the fan-favourite cheese naans will soon be fixed.
Among the other issues that will be fixed in the next patch are decorations being removed from equipment, Bowgun Customization reverting back to default, and Kinsects reverting to the initial rarity. Also, another annoying bug that will be fixed is monster parts turning into another monster’s parts after being cut off.
While Capcom already fixed one game breaking bug, it seems there might be another one that needs fixing. “An issue wherein Main Mission: Chapter 5-1 “Omens” cannot be progressed,” reads the patch notes, however, we’ve seen no complaints pop up about this as of yet.
If you find your hunter unresponsive after your cat uses “Attract Vigorwasps”, the devs are working on a fix to that issue as well. Other than that, it’s basic fixes for minor issues and bugs. You can read the full patch notes here.
