What Are Monster Hunter Wilds Event Quests?
In Monster Hunter Wilds, Event Quests are limited-time events that offer the Hunter new quests and hunts for unique rewards. Typically, Monster Hunter Wilds Event Quests require players to defeat a specific monster in a specific location.
Every Event Quest in Monster Hunter Wilds has an associated Difficulty and Hunter Rank requirement. The ‘Kut-Ku Gone Cuckoo’ event quest, for example, takes place in the Scarlet Forest and is a 4-star difficulty quest that only players of Hunter Rank 9 or higher can take on.
Completing Monster Hunter Wilds Event Quests rewards high-level ingredients, unique pieces of gear, or specific upgrade materials. Completing the ‘Kut-Ku Gone Cuckoo’ Event Quest rewards a Mimiphyta α headgear, for example, while ‘Stalking Supper’ grants some Kunafa Cheese to improve Food Buffs.

How To Unlock Event Quests In Monster Hunter Wilds
Fortunately, there is no requirement to unlock Event Quests – at least not in terms of reaching a specific point in the story, or talking to a specific character. Monster Hunter Wilds just need to meet the Hunter Rank minimum to undertake each Event Quest. Then, to start an Event Quest, talk to Alma and select it from the ‘Post/Join Quest’ menu.
When Do Event Quests End In Monster Hunter Wilds?
Event Quests rotate every Tuesday at 7 p.m. EST / 4 p.m. PST, so if you want one of this week’s Monster Hunter Wilds Event Quest rewards, make sure to complete the quest before the evening on Tuesday each week.
Sometimes, event quests will last for multiple weeks – the ‘Kut-Ku Gone Cuckoo’ quest, which was added on March 4, 2025, repeat on March 11, then end on March 18.
