All’s Fair… is a complex side-quest that requires Henry to use his best subterfuge abilities in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, but this time, it is all for a great cause: to make sure a poor man’s beloved doesn’t end up married to the village’s lout.
If players are having trouble completing this Sub-Quest, in this guide, they will have all the information they need to find all the items they need to steal, and also, all the possible outcomes of this mission. Let’s get this started with the exact location of this secondary quest.

Where To Start All’s Fair In KCD2
To start All’s Fair… players need to travel to Wysoka one of the hamlets in the far southwestern corner of Kuttenberg, and talk to Hired Hand Pavel to speak about his troublesome love issue.
Pavel is in love with Ursula, and the girl seems to fancy him too (allegedly) but the problem is that Ursula is promised to the Village’s Lout, and Pavel needs more time to prove he is worthy of the girl. Henry has no better idea than to steal some stuff from around the village to blame Pivetz, Ursula’s Suitor, and make their parents break the engagement.
Needless to say, this will require lots of stealth and thievery, and players need to be extremely careful not to get caught, or the mission will fail. Pavel will grant Henry the key to the Vejmola house, so that’s a Lockpicking mini-game players won’t need to solve. For the rest, grab Henry’s black outfit, some Quickfinger Potions, Lockpicks, and Saviour Schnapps: here we go stealing again.
How To Complete All’s Fair In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
To Complete All’s Fair… in KCD2, players will have to steal 4 items, and recover a fifth one that is on a Magpie’s nest from the many around Wysoka. So, wait for midnight someplace away from guards, and get to work. These items are:
- Ursula’s Mom Rosary
- Bohuska’s Ring
- Father Anthony’s Alchemy Book
- Cobbler Vejmola’s Boots
- Vejmola’s Lost Medallion
How To Recover Vejmola’s Lost Medallion
The first item players should try to get is Vejmola’s Medallion which can be obtained if players travel to the Bohuska’s Ring mark and look around the yard of the house for a bird’s nest. Enter stealth and throw a stone at it to take it down and recover the medal.
It is recommended that players get this item by day, then wait for the night to steal Bohuska’s Ring which is just next to the tree where the Magpie nest is.
How To Find Bohuska’s Ring
From their latest position, now players are able to enter Bohuska’s house, and before they even go looking around for the ring or pickpocketing Bohuska (who is sleeping) they should instead turn to the right from the entrance and examine the table full of recently cooked Pies and Poppy Seed Kolach.
If players pay attention to what Bohuska is saying in her sleep, they will notice that she says: “The Ring…. The Dough…” this means that she lost her ring while baking.
So, pick up Poppy Seed Kolach and start eating until the game is saved. That will mean players have bitten the ring out of the pastry. Not the glorious medieval heist players had imagined, but the objective will be completed.

How To Steal Father Anthony’s Book
Next, players will have to steal Wysoka Priest’s Alchemy Book from Father Anthony’s house. Beware, because the house is surrounded by Guard Dogs, so drink Aesop Potion before attempting to enter the residence. If players have a high level of Houndmaster skill, the Dog’s Best Friend perk will prevent dogs from alerting nearby guards and the owners of the houses from Henry’s presence.
Now, pick the lock from the backdoor, and search for Anthony’s room. The book is on display left of his reading desk. Pick it up and get out without alerting the guards patrolling the streets.
How To Steal The Cobbler’s Boots
This will be the easiest item to steal so far. Players just need to access the residence using the key that Pavel provided, then turn right, and open the door to the room. Behind the door and against the wall, they will find the Fine boots of Cobbler Vejmola. Simply pick them up and leave.
Players should close the door after exiting the house, since a guard often patrols around the house. If he sees the door opened, he will alert the owners of the house and soon, the whole town will be on high alert.
How To Steal Ursula’s Mother Rosary
To get Ursula’s Mother Rosary, players will need to break into the marked house, and then direct their attention to the room with the couple peacefully sleeping there. Now, target Ursula’s mother and pickpocket her to steal her Chest and Door keys.
Next, they should turn to the opposite side of the bed for a chest that looks similar to the gear chest players have in every Tavern and Resting Point. Open it and pick the item called Gemstone Rosary.
With all five items in their power, players should now return to Pavel, and prepare for four different outcomes for the All’s Fair quest.
Should You Give The Stolen Items To Pavel Or Money For His Apprenticeship?
To finish All’s Fair, players will have to return to Pavel and by talking to him, they will soon notice something is wrong. Pavel has no intention of using the items for the original plan, and when pressed through a Hard Check, he will reveal that he plans to sell the stolen goods and forget about Ursula.
Now players have two different choices: Send everything to hell and give the items to Pavel, or offer to pay 1000 Groschen for his apprenticeship so he doesn’t become a common burglar (like Henry already is).
Alternatively, players can decide to send Pavel to hell without the items and the money, which is the third outcome, and one of the bad ones. Players can also rat out Pavel by talking to Pivetz, Ursula’s Fiancee. But that is another of the bad outcomes that will fail the quest.

Where to Find Lord’s Overcoat In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Want to know where to find the best Coat in KCD2? Here’s how to get the Lord’s Overcoat which provides the best protection of all clothing.
We went with the option to pay 1000 Groschen, and then keep the items to return them to their rightful owners. For that, Pavel will let Henry know that he needs to return the items to Father Anthony.
Players will also acquire a lot of Strength Experience and Unarmed Skill Experience, which are a decent reward added to the Agility Experience, and Thievery Experience accumulated during the quest. But before returning the stolen items to Father Anthony, make sure to read Wysoka Priest’s Alchemy Book, to gain an extra Alchemy level.
Plus, by returning the items to the priest like a good Christian, he will grant players some extra Scholarship Experience, and become available as a Journeyman Alchemy and Scholarship Skill Trainer. All in all, this is the best possible outcome, with the greatest amount of rewards.
