There’s nothing like the glitter and glam of Scrooge McDuck’s store, and Aladdin has an exciting heist planned to spice things up. He hopes you’ll join him, and you really should. When else will you get a chance to sneak into the store and test your thieving skills? We’ll help you break into the vault with ease!

How To Case Scrooge McDuck’s Store

To unlock this friendship quest, you’ll need to have Aladdin at friendship level two and have progressed further with Scrooge McDuck. When you’re ready, chat with Aladdin to get started. He’ll send you to Scrooge McDuck for all the details about a potential heist.

Scrooge McDuck has a brand new security system he wants to try out, and he’s hoping you and Aladdin will rob his store to test it. Before you can infiltrate the store, you’ll need to case the shop by taking photos. Snap a few pictures of the following:

A door that guards more treasure than the Cave of Wonders.
A way to reach the second floor of the shop.
Ways to make a quick escape from the guards.

If you’re having trouble getting the shots, try standing at the front door and taking a wide shot!

After you’ve cased the store, talk with Aladdin for the next steps. You’ll need to wear sporty and dark attire to ensure you are both hidden and able to move quickly during the heist.

When you’re ready, enter Scrooge’s store to begin the heist of the century! Ideally, you’ll want to do this at night, but you can begin at any time of day.

If you want the nighttime vibe but can’t play during the evening, change your graphics settings display time!

How To Rob Scrooge McDuck’s Vault

Once inside the store, follow Aladdin to the big red button beside the vault. Press the button to begin the test, which will clear out the store and activate the security system.

You’ll be transported to the second floor of the shop, where all the lights are out. Spotlights threaten to expose your heist, and there are bright red buttons set up all around the store. You’ll need to activate them to move and deactivate the spotlights so you can reach the vault with Aladdin.

Use the buttons in the following order to reach the vault:

Press the button at the center of the balcony.
Press the button on the wall at the back of the store.
Press the button by the stairs to the left.
Press the button by the stairs and desk to the right.
Press the button at the center of the balcony.
Press the button on the counter by the cash register.
Press the button on the display counter.

To deactivate the security system, you’ll need to press the big red button you used to start the test. Aladdin will come racing down to you and open the vault.

How To Catch The Flying Coins From The Vault

Once Aladdin opens the vault, flying coins will race out! It seems Scrooge had them enchanted as a bonus precaution. Catch the four that run rampant in the store, then give them to Aladdin.

Return to Dreamlight Valley to catch the remaining nine coins that are flying about the village. They could be anywhere, so keep your eyes open! Decorations and other furniture can obscure your line of sight, making them more difficult to locate at a glance.

They’re easier to see at night, as they leave a bit of a trail.

After you’ve caught them all, take them to Aladdin’s house and hand them over. Aladdin will pile them all up, and you can take a commemorative photo of all your loot!

Then, follow Aladdin in the village and listen to him address Scrooge about the heist. Talk to Aladdin afterwards to wrap up the quest and return the large pile of coins. Unfortunately, you don’t get to keep the money, but you do get bragging rights about breaking into the high-security vault!
