FragPunk marks its debut, providing players with a colorful yet intense action hero-shooter to dive into, making it one of the more unique first-person shooters available. The game itself is free to play and enjoy, offering a wide range of rewards that players can earn without any additional costs.
To claim rewards in FragPunk, players must keep track of various in-game currencies, which can be overwhelming for newcomers. While some currencies are premium, others can be earned for free with minimal effort, allowing players to unlock a variety of exclusive items and characters simply by playing. Gold is one such currency and can be earned fairly quickly through certain strategies.

What Is Gold Used For In FragPunk?
Gold is an earnable currency in FragPunk that can be used to purchase a wide range of different things in the game. Gold is mainly used to purchase Lancers for free, which are the different characters that players can play as, each with their own unique abilities to make use of during a game. Gold is also used to purchase Relics once players reach level 15, each of which costs 2,000 Gold each.
However, Gold can also be used to unlock basic items, all of which can be found under the Items Tab when browsing the Store. Eligible items include Curiosity Pop Cans (10,000 Gold) and the Sword of Justice Sticker Pack (1,000 Gold), each offering players the ability to unlock valuable rewards.
How To Get Gold Fast In FragPunk
While there are a variety of ways for players to earn Gold, not every method yields the best results. Some strategies provide very little Gold, while others require players to spend different currencies to acquire it. Here, players can find a quick rundown of the best ways to earn Gold quickly in FragPunk.
Completing Matches
The first and most reliable way for players to maximize their Gold earnings is by simply playing Multiplayer matches. Participating in Multiplayer matches allows players to earn a steady stream of Gold passively, with their performance in each match seemingly affecting the amount they receive. Time spent in a match, eliminations and assists gained, and victories all play a crucial role in determining how much Gold players receive at the end of a match, encouraging them to bring their A-game when competing.
Completing Daily Challenges & Claiming Daily Free Bundles
While playing matches daily is currently the best way to earn Gold quickly, players can earn a little extra through two additional methods. The first is by completing Daily Challenges. For the most part, challenges in FragPunk primarily reward players with XP. However, there is usually at least one Daily Challenge that grants Gold and Glunite Coins, in addition to XP upon completion. Daily Challenges can be accessed via the Challenge Tab, located just below the Battle Pass Tab in the Lobby.
Another way to earn Gold daily is by claiming the Daily Free Bundle. Daily Free Bundles can be redeemed through the Items section of the Store and cost nothing to open. Each Daily Free Bundle grants 50 Gold and 50 Glunite Coins, allowing players to earn up to 350 Gold per week if they claim them daily.
Checking The Scavenger Imp
The Scavenger Imp is another system that allows players to passively earn Gold in FragPunk. This small critter scavenges for Gold in the background as players play, granting up to 200 Gold per day. The Scavenger Imp can be accessed by clicking the gold sack icon at the bottom right of the screen when viewing the Lobby. Once there, players can claim the Gold by selecting the Scavenger Imp, adding all the scavenged Gold to their total balance.
Monthly and Annual Membership owners can also earn Glunite Coins via the Scavenger Imp.
Redeeming Battle Pass Tokens
Another way players can earn a passive supply of Gold is by purchasing it using Battle Pass Tokens within the Battle Pass section of the Redeem Page, found in the Store Tab of the main menu. Here, players can trade in 100 Battle Pass Tokens for 1,000 Gold. Battle Pass Tokens are earned for free upon completing the current Battle Pass and serve as special bonus rewards for those who have leveled it up completely.
Players will earn a total of 100 Battle Pass Tokens upon completing the Battle Pass, and each additional Battle Pass level they gain through XP will yield another 100 Battle Pass Tokens. The only downside to this method is that it can take a while to level through the current Battle Pass, and until they do, players will be unable to earn Battle Pass Tokens.
Daily Login Rewards
The final and most reliable way to earn a large sum of Gold regularly is through Daily Login Rewards. These rewards can be accessed through the Events Tab in the main Lobby. While players won’t receive Gold every day, they can typically expect to find a 1,000 Gold reward available on one of the daily logins—making it a great way to earn some Gold on the side, even on days when players don’t have time to earn Gold by playing matches.
