How To Get A Magic Carpet Glider In Disney Dreamlight Valley

There are dozens of adventures to have in Disney Dreamlight Valley, and each of them is unique and inspired by a specific Disney or Pixar character. From classic characters like the Disney Princesses to the vibrant and quirky monsters like Mike and Sulley, everyone lives in relative harmony–even the villains!

Disney Dreamlight Valley: How To Get The Agrabah Crafting Station

Finding a key in the desert is like looking for a needle in a haystack.

The Valley is a big place, and being able to glide around makes it much easier to navigate. With Aladdin’s help, you can take a ride on a magic carpet whenever you want, though you’ll have to put in a bit of work first. Here’s how to get your very own flying carpet!

Where To Find The Books For Aladdin In The Dreamlight Library

Before you can unlock this quest, you’ll need to reach friendship level four with Aladdin. Additionally, you’ll need Minnie Mouse and Maui in your village. Once these conditions are met, speak with Aladdin about the idea of your very own magic carpet.

This is different from the companion carpet you unlock when welcoming Aladdin!

Aladdin sends you to Merlin to learn more about magic carpets. While Merlin himself doesn’t have the information, he knows of a couple books in the Dreamlight Library that contain the information you’re looking for.

Make your way to Merlin’s house and search the bookcases for the following books:

Carpet Weaving 101
Enchant Your Own Flying Carpet
Jasmine’s Flying Notes

Some books will be on the floor! Merlin isn’t the most organized librarian.

Once you have the books, take them to Aladdin so he can study them.

How To Make A Magic Carpet

While Aladdin studies the books you brought, your next step is to speak with Minnie Mouse about making the actual carpet. She sends you out to find the following materials:

Dream Shard (4)
Blue Hydrangea (4)
Purple Bell Flower (4)
Fiber (25)

Make sure the materials are in your inventory!

Head to Aladdin’s house with the carpet supplies and hand them over to Aladdin. He’ll weave the carpet himself then lay it out on the floor. You’ll receive a magic scroll to enchant the carpet with.

Step up to your carpet and use the scroll, then return to Aladdin for a surprise.

The Magic Carpet Valley Tour

Follow Aladdin to the Dream Castle. He’s set up banners around the village to give you your very own magic carpet tour. Equip the magic carpet as a glider and eat some snacks so you have a yellow energy bar, then use the sprint input to ride your magic carpet.

Head to the following locations in order to complete your tour:

The place where the Plaza and Forest of Valor connect.
The path from the Forest of Valor to Dazzle Beach.
The banner on Dazzle Beach.
The path from Dazzle Beach to the eastern slope into the Peaceful Meadow.
The stairs leading from the Peaceful Meadow to Dazzle Beach.
The bridge on Dazzle Beach.
The dock near Skull Rock.

Once you’ve completed the tour, speak with Aladdin to wrap everything up and complete the quest. You’ll get to keep the carpet and earn a few more friendship points with Aladdin!
