Like all secret rarity fish, this massive creature not only has a low chance of biting your rod, but it also rarely spawns during a server event, making it even trickier to snag.

How To Spawn The Secret Moby Fish In Fisch
Moby can be found during the Whale Migration server event in Fisch. When the event begins, a long line of blue arrows will appear in the ocean, marking its location. If you’re unsure where to look, just hop into your boat and search across the map, as the trail can spawn randomly. However, it most often appears near Ancient Isle or Sunstone Island and lasts only 15 minutes. Sadly, Moby only has a five percent chance of showing up during the Whale Migration event, so there’s no guarantee. However, you can increase your odds with a few tricks. To spawn Moby in Fisch, boost your server luck (especially during summer), then repeatedly use the Tempest Totem and Smokescreen Totem until the Whale Migration begins. This event has a 20% chance of occurring during rainy weather, and these totems can help trigger it early. You can find Smokescreen Totems at Mushgrove Swamp and Tempest Totems in a cave on Terrapin Island, both costing 2,000 in-game currency. As for server luck, you can buy it in the game shop for lots of Robux. It’s a bit expensive, but the more luck you have, the higher your chances of Moby appearing in the event.
How To Catch The Secret Moby Fish In Fisch
As mentioned above, Moby is a difficult catch; it has -95% Progress Speed and just one Resilience, meaning it moves the fishing mini-game too fast and takes the longest time to reel in. To get Moby in Fisch, you’ll need Squid Bait, plenty of luck, and a strong rod that can handle over 90,000 kg. Here’s how to do it right:
- First, Squid Bait is this creature’s preferred bait, so make sure you have enough before triggering the event. You can snag it from Bait Crates, Common Bait Crates, and Quality Bait Crates, which cost between 120 and 525 currency.
- Next, a powerful rod with high luck stats is a must, as Moby weighs between 90,000 and 420,000 kg. Some of the best rods for this purpose include the Ethereal Prism Rod, No-Life Rod, Challenger’s Rod, and Heaven’s Rod. If you have the Rod of the Forgotten Fangs, don’t skip it, as it guarantees a Moby after three perfect catches thanks to its passive ability.
- Since you’ll likely have to activate multiple Whale Migration events to find Moby, your server luck will drop over time. Keep an eye on it and buy more as needed. Once the event starts, use an Aurora Totem to max out your chances. If you don’t have a private server and plenty of resources, try joining high-luck servers, but expect some tough competition as well.
Even with these strategies, getting Moby takes patience. So, expect a long grind and a big investment in both in-game currency and real money.
