Fortnite Update Early Patch Notes: Rocket Drill, Exotics, and More

Almost every week during a season, there is a Fortnite update. Epic Games likes to keep things pretty fresh, and they almost always add tweaks to the game. If nothing else, new quests, new skins, and more are released on a weekly basis. Ahead of the update scheduled for next week, some leaks have revealed the early patch notes.

According to HYPEX, this update could be fairly substantial. First, it will include the second wave of the Invincible collaboration. This is poised to introduce Mark’s blue suit to the metaverse and add a couple of other characters. Previously, Mark (Invincible), Omni-Man, and Atom Eve were added.

There is also a possibility that Scorpion is added to the game. He’s the “secret” skin on the Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2 battle pass. If he is added, his Hook Mythic item could also be added to the loot pool. However, ShiinaBR noted that Scorpion is unlikely to come in this update.

The new Pump & Dump dual-wield gun is set to be added to the loot pool as well. The Mythic version will be available, too. This item can combine a shotgun and an SMG for one of the most unique weapons in Fortnite history.

The Rocket Drill, which is very similar to the Rocket Ram from seasons past, is set to arrive in this Fortnite update as well. The Outlaw Shotgun should join the game on Tuesday, March 11 as well. There will also be some new Exotics added to the Dill Bit black markets. You can spend Dill Bits on these as well as Mythics.

These are just some of the anticipated changes, and they’re only Fortnite leaks presently. Most of these items or characters have been confirmed by Epic Games in one way or another, but they’re not exactly confirmed to arrive on Tuesday just yet. It’s likely but can’t be guaranteed.
