One of the first major appearances of Eevee and its Eeveelutions is during the episode The Battling Eevee Brothers. These are a group of siblings who all have mastery over a single Eeveelution while also sporting similar hairstyles.

Their youngest brother, however, doesn’t want to Evolve his Eevee. Luckily, he gets a chance to prove that an Eevee doesn’t need to Evolve to become powerful as he takes on Team Rocket and wins. It’s an iconic episode with some of the most memorable Eevee trainers in the anime.

Ursula

Ursula is one of Dawn’s rivals in the Diamond and Pearl series. Aside from constantly heckling both Dawn and Jessie during their contest bouts, she also has plenty of Pokemon that work well in pairs, such as her trusty Plusle and Minun.

Two of the other Pokemon pairs in her possession are Eevees. Ursula Evolves them both during the middle of a performance using stones. This gives her both a Vaporeon and a Flareon to work with on the spot. She uses this technique to advance throughout the competition.

Not only did her character give Ash’s female companions a goal of their own to work towards, but unlike Misty, May started off as a complete novice. Throughout her journey to collect Contest Ribbons, she meets many Pokemon that assist her, including an Eevee that hatches from an egg.

This Pokemon becomes part of May’s core team. After parting ways with Ash, her travels eventually take her to Sinnoh, where the Eevee evolves into a Glaceon.

Eventually, Serena’s Eevee evolves into a Sylveon as proof that it has turned the page on its stage fright. It then becomes one of Serena’s best Pokemon as she takes on different performances across the region.
