Lost Records: Bloom & Rage is all about choices and their consequences, and Double Dare might be heaviest on both. Chapter 20 finds Swann, Autumn, Kat, and Nora staying the night in the woods thanks to their new cabin hideout, Fawn’s Rest. While there, they engage in a spirited game of Truth or Dare.

Lost Records: Bloom & Rage – The Abyss Choices Guide
We cover the choices for The Abyss in Lost Records: Bloom & Rage.
In this guide, we’ll go over which Truth or Dare choices will have a positive, negative, or neutral effect on your relationships with all three girls. And, we’ll go over the easy-to-miss (but consequential) decisions you can make in the cabin before the girls even start to play.
As always, saying nothing is an option, but may mean missing out on dialogue choices down the line.
Exploring Fawn’s Rest Before The Game
When you first arrive in the cabin, you can explore the main floor. Near Autumn’s section, you can find a box of pads. If you interact with them, Nora will say, “Dude, who use pads?” Swann can admit that the pads are hers, or stay silent, and either way gets a neutral result.
Around this same time, the girls bring up Truth or Dare. You can admit that you’ve never played Truth or Dare before for a neutral result. Or, if you’ve established that Swann is a drinker in prior chapters, you can ask Nora if she brought beer, which is also neutral.
If you inspect Nora’s belongings, you can find an adult magazine. If you examine it, then open it, Nora will sneak up behind you and start making moaning noises. Here you can decide what Swann admits about her own habits to Nora:
No way…. |
Negative. |
Does fan fiction count? |
Positive. |
From our previous visit to the cabin, we know that there’s an attic to visit. If you go up there, you can sit on the edge and reflect. If you do, Kat will appear and sit with you. You have three question you can ask her:
Is that a diary? |
Negative. |
What’re you writing? |
Neutral. |
Any updates on the poetry contest? |
Positive. |
Regardless of what you choose, Kat will ask you if there’s anything you would change about yourself.
I wish I was skinny… |
Neutral. |
I wish I wasn’t moving away… |
Positive. |
Time For Truth Or Dare
Now it’s time to start the game. During Nora’s turn, Kat asks which of the three girls she would choose to be handcuffed to. Nora will always choose the same way, but you can interject with Kat, Autumn, or Swann’s name. All get a positive response.
Swann is up next and, back in 2022, you get to determine what she got asked about.
You asked about my regrets. |
Neutral. |
You asked about my deepest fear. |
Neutral. |
You asked about my crush… |
Neutral. |
Though none of these choices positively or negatively affect your relationships with any of the girls, each option starts its own dialogue path.
You Asked About My Regrets
Swann’s biggest regret is always the same (making her mom cry), but the cause of her crying can be different.
If the reason she cried is that Swann said she doesn’t think she’ll ever get married, you can ask all the girls if they think they’ll ever get married and hear their responses. Asking gets a neutral response in all three cases.
If the reason she cried is that Swann said she wishes she’d never been born, you have two follow-up options. The first is to actually say it, and the second is to say, “Thanks,” when you’re comforted. Both get neutral responses.
You Asked About My Deepest Fear
If you chooe this option, you can pick between two greatest fears: that Swann’s parents will die or that no one will ever love her.
If you choose Swann’s parents dying, Nora will say that she worries more about her own death, and wonders if that’s selfish.
That is kinda selfish. |
Negative. |
I’m not really scared of dying. |
Neutral. |
If you choose never being loved, it gets a neutral response initially. Once the girls say that they love you, you can say you love them, too, which gets a positive response.
You Asked About My Crush…
If you choose this option, you have four potential responses. (In order for three of them to appear, you need to look at the corresponding girl).
I don’t have a crush. |
Negative. |
I have a crush on this writer… |
Positive (from Kat). |
I have a crush on this skater… |
Positive (from Autumn). |
I have a crush on this musician… |
Positive (from Nora). |
Regardless of which girl you pick, you get the same follow-up options:
I’ll tell you someday. |
Positive. |
My lips are sealed. |
Neutral. |
If you say you don’t like anyone, you’ll get asked if you’re into “the bad boy Corey type.”
No, I’m more into cartoon boys. |
Neutral. |
My lips are sealed, sorry. |
Neutral. |
Guys like Corey are kinda cute. |
Neutral. |
Swann’s Turn To Pick
Now Swann is up to dole out a truth or a dare. She can pick any of the girls and, whoever she picks, it results in a positive response from that girl.
Autumn, Truth Or Dare?
If you pick Autumn, you have two questions you can ask her:
What’s your most embarassing secret? |
Remembered. |
What’s the meanest thing you’ve ever done? |
Remembered. |
If you ask Nora for an embarrasing secret, she’ll say that he sometimes still sleeps with her stuffed rabbit.
Come on, tell us a secret. |
Negative (from Autumn) and Positive (from Nora). |
I think it’s sweet. |
Positive. |
If you push Autumn to reveal something juicier, she’ll turn the tables on Nora and say she saw her making out with a boy who she lied and said she never saw again. You can extend compassion or judgement to Nora.
She was probably just embarassed. |
Positive. |
Wow, you really lied? |
Negative. |
Kat! Truth Or Dare?
If you pick Kat, you have two dare options.
Let us read your diary. |
Remembered. |
Break a mirror for bad luck. |
Remembered. |
Kat doesn’t like the first option, but you can press her if you choose.
I double dog dare you. |
Negative. |
Sorry, it was a bad idea. |
Positive. |
If you choose the second option and back out, you end up daring Kat to break a mirror. If you choose that option immediately or get it here, the result is the same: Kat breaks a mirror.
Nora! Truth Or Dare?
Nora picks truth. You have two question options.
Who do you hate? |
Remembered. |
Have you had sex? |
Remembered. |
If you choose the first option, you have three possible responses, though one won’t show up right away.
Yeah, Corey! (Delayed). |
Positive. |
Someone from school. |
Neutral. |
Dean, Autumn’s ex-boyfriend. |
Positive. |
Regardless of which you choose, Nora will say Dean. You have three dialogue choices:
I would pay to watch that. |
Positive. |
Hope you get your payback, Autumn. |
Positive. |
You couldn’t beat up a boy. |
Negative. |
If you choose to ask if Nora has had sex, she is surprised to hear this question coming from Swann.
Baby, you have no idea! |
Positive. |
Isn’t this a classic Truths question? |
Neutral. |
Surprise, I’m a really kinky goblin! |
Positive. |
Nora will tell the story whatever you pick, and you have three responses:
You’re making this up! |
Negative. |
Was he totally hot? |
Positive. |
I bet you’re a great kisser. |
Positive. |
Swann’s Second Truth Or Dare
The chapter closes out with Swann stepping up to the plate once again. If you choose dare, you have to play Bloody Mary in the outhouse. You have no choice but to choose to say it, until this section runs its course.
But, if you choose truth, you get asked about Swann’s first kiss and have two response options.
No one’s ever kissed me. |
Neutral. |
Um… my pillow? |
Neutral. |
Either way, you’ll get asked who you think is the best kisser among the girls.
Nora’s probably the best kisser. |
Positive. |
Kat’s probably the best kisser. |
Positive. |
Autumn’s probably the best kisser. |
Positive. |
Can I pass? |
Neutral. |
After this round, there are some more dares to watch unfold, but you don’t have to make any choices. So congrats, you’ve made it through the Truth or Dare gauntlet!
