Even if you have your win condition in hand, it’s often better to wait for your opponent to make the first move. Many opponents make the mistake of spamming everything at the bridge immediately, which can be easily countered if you stay calm.
One common mistake we make is stacking everything in one lane without managing the elixir properly. Overloading one side might seem strong, but if your opponent has a decent enough counter, they can easily shut it down and counter-push while you’re out of elixir. Instead, try spreading your attacks.
Be careful not to overcommit to a slow push, as it can leave you vulnerable to a counterattack that could cost you the game. Instead, keep up the pressure with quick attacks. Sticking to a fast deck is suggested; try to stay aggressive, and always be ready to counter-push after a strong defense.
Troop Combinations that come in handy
Since matches are fast-paced, you should use low-elixir win conditions like Hog Rider, Miner, or Goblin Barrel. Fast damage is king in Sudden Death, so pick a deck that can apply pressure without overcommitting.
High-cost win conditions like Golem or Lava Hound take too long to set up, which means your opponent can easily counter and rush your tower before you have enough elixir to defend.
There’s a difference between attacking first and a reckless push. I’ve won matches in under 40 seconds just by defending a reckless push and immediately counter-attacking with Hog + Firecracker or Miner + Poison, for example.

For the Tower Troops, I usually use Princess or Dagger Dutchess in this mode as I need my defense stronger and also attack swarms, if any. This choice is up to you, you can go with whatever you feel like.
