One of the last major updates for Castle Crashers was the remaster of the game that brought the game to the current generation of consoles. Considering the game was first released as an Xbox Live Arcade title back in 2008, the remasters were widely considered to be the final post-launch additions to the game. Surprisingly though, Castle Crashers’ Painter Boss Paradise DLC has been announced and is planned to be released in Summer 2025.
