I’m a fan of this card…
It started with Genetic Apex’s Mew promo players could acquire by collecting a card for each of the original 150 Pokemon. Space-time Smackdown then added a hidden Garchomp emblem, which proved a nightmare to unlock.
It turns out, that in an attempt to one-up the previous expansions, Triumphant Light has also added a secret Shaymin emblem, which is proving just as difficult for players to get their hands on.
Triumphant Light’s Secret Shaymin Emblem Is No Fun To Unlock
Shared on the Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket subreddit by user Ramify is the game’s newest hidden emblem, featuring one of Triumphant Light’s signature Pokemon— Shaymin.
The emblem features the Sky Forme version of Shaymin on a gold background and requires the collection of seven specific cards to complete the “Pokemon From Ancient Records” secret mission. Four of these five should be relatively easy to come across: Heatran, Giratina, Origin Forme Dialga, and Origin Forme Palkia’s three-diamond cards. The other three get progressively harder.
Players will need to get the meta-relevant Arceus ex (a four-diamond rarity card), Shaymin’s one-star rarity card, and, trickiest of all, the full art Celestic Town Elder card, which is a two-star rarity card, meaning at best, players have a 0.15 percent chance of finding it in packs.
There is, of course, the option of purchasing the Celestic Town Elder card from the Pack Point Exchange, but at 1,250 points, it’s not cheap. You’d need to open at least 250 Triumphant Light packs to have enough points for the card.
