According to Fortnite leakers, there’s a better form of reboots about to come to the game as a new mechanic. The Fortnite Enhanced Resurrection. This is going to be a better way to return to the game after you get knocked out.
Reboots haven’t been around for all Fortnite seasons. However, they have been a fixture since Chapter 1. A way for dead players to come back to the game, without just having to wait until their teammate finished up their round. Reboots have been static for most of their life. But according to leaker loolo_WRLD on Twitter, a new enhanced resurrection will come to the game soon.

These new leaks show the reboot will give players a bit of a better start when dropping back in. However, it does seem like there will be a price to pay. This is what we’re expecting with the Fortnite Enhanced Resurrection.
Fortnite Enhanced Resurrection Leaks
According to Fortnite leaks, the Enhanced Resurrection will be coming in a future update. Maybe as soon as the next Fortnite update! The leaks say it’ll be a reboot where players drop back in with some supplies.
Normally, rebooted players get grey pistols. However, with the Enhanced Resurrection it seems they’ll instead spawn in with a Holo Twister AR and big shield. Not quite a full loadout, but a much better stat. that’s along with ammo and mats. Enough to defend yourself while you loot back up.
Before these recent Fortnite Enhanced Resurrection leaks, we previously saw leaks about a paid for reboot coming. A way to exchange gold for a different type of reboot. It seems this might be the same feature.
In Chapter 6 Season 2, we’ve seen a few features het a gold price tag added. Like the hiding spots and teleport locations. With this new feature, it’ll start to cost gold to even get back into the game. Which means we’ll have to make sure there’s a supply of gold before jumping back into team games.
