8 Hardest Achievements To Unlock In Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza In Hawaii
These achievements in Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza In Hawaii are the most difficult to gain.
You often have to get 100 percent in the completion list, beat the game on Legend difficulty, defeat plenty of hard bosses, and perfect nearly all the minigames. This takes a lot of skill, plus a huge time investment. If you managed to 100 percent some of these games, even doing it twice across console and PC, you’re a master gamer.
100 percent completion will require all the achievements/trophies, including DLC ones.

Yakuza Kiwami
Brutal Minigames, But There Are Some Helpful Exploits
Following the ridiculously hard Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami eased up a bit, but not on purpose. The minigames are still wildly hard, especially Karaoke, but for side objectives like Haruka’s Requests, there’s an incredibly useful exploit that’ll skip the last few SSS Rank challenges.
When beating the final Baccarat challenge that’ll make you reach SSS Rank, make a clear game save in West Park. Boot up Premium Adventure with that save, and Haruka will ask you to do the same Baccarat challenge. Proceed to do just that, and you’ll reach EX Rank. You’ll wish exploits like this worked in Yakuza 0 because they greatly ease the difficulty here.

Yakuza 3
The Most Side Quests In Any Yakuza Game
On its own, Yakuza 3 is already one of the hardest titles in the series. Infamous for its blocking enemies, which can frustrate many, Yakuza 3 also proves to be one of the hardest to 100 percent as well.
Boasting the highest number of Substories in the series at 119, completing them all is a long grind. You don’t have a completion list this time, but you’ll still need to 100 percent all the minigames. Bowling and Darts, in particular, are the hardest they’ve ever been in the series.

Yakuza 5
The Biggest Yakuza Game
100 percenting Yakuza 5 will be a long grind due to how massive the game is. With five total areas, just doing all the side content alone, whether it be Substories, Side Stories, or the hostess clubs, will take over 60 hours. However, what can really stab you in the back is the completion list.

Unlike most games in the series, getting 100 percent on the completion list is missable. Keep every weapon and material you get because you can’t get them back if you sell or discard them. That’s a big problem because you need specific weapons and materials to create everything at Kamiyama Works for the completion list.

Yakuza 0
The Hardest Climax Battles
The difficulty of Yakuza 0 is similar to Kiwami, but there are no exploits this time. The minigames are brutal, and for certain ones, like Karaoke, you might just give up if you aren’t good at rhythm games. What really sets apart Yakuza 0, though, has to be the Climax Battles.
These are in most early Yakuza games, and the Climax Battles in 0 are undoubtedly the hardest. The enemy opposition is ridiculous, and, of course, you must go through several boss rushes to finish the last few battles. Your skills will be tested like no other.

Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth
Hard For An Entirely Different Reason
Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth isn’t very hard to platinum. Sure, it takes a long time, but the difficulty itself proves to be rather light. The problem here is DLC achievements. For some reason, Sega made New Game Plus a paid DLC add-on, with four achievements tied to it: one for starting New Game Plus and three for beating the mode on any difficulty, Hard, and Legend.

Legend difficulty doesn’t mess around with your first battle against a level 74 enemy; it just gets harder from there. Thankfully, there’s a trick. Just do a normal playthrough and save before the final boss. Use that save to beat New Game Plus on both Hard and Legend difficulties.
2
Judgment
A Secret Boss That’s A Nightmare
Some might argue that Judgment is one of the easier Yakuza games. It’s small, with only Kamurocho available as a location, and the minigames can be difficult, especially Mahjong, but it’s nowhere near as bad as Yakuza 0 or Kiwami. Why is Judgment difficult, then? The reason is that Judgment has the hardest boss fight in the entire series.
Every game will have an Amon secret boss fight, usually after completing all the Substories. Judgment follows suit, and even on the easiest difficulty, it’s brutal. At a certain point, Shin Amon can perform a grab move that will take away your phone, locking you out of most of your healing items. Even the second phase proves a major challenge, as you must switch fighting styles, or else he can kill you faster than you can say judgment.

Like A Dragon: Ishin!
The Biggest Grind In The Series
While you can argue that Like a Dragon: Ishin isn’t the hardest Yakuza game to 100 percent skill-wise, it’s by far the biggest and most tedious grind of the series. Contrary to popular belief, games that take an extremely long time to platinum are difficult, especially in the achievement/trophy-hunting community where time is money.
You’ll spend most of your time in Ishin crafting every single piece of equipment, as this must be done to reach 100 percent in the completion list. This takes an ungodly amount of time, and maxing out your stats isn’t any more fun as you’ll grind the 100-man arena fight over and over again.
