Marvel Rivals has revealed the patch notes for the update 20250307, which will be available on March 6. This is the first update released in March and will be applied without server downtime, adding a new event, mode, and various bug fixes to ensure a better experience for Marvel Rivals players during matches.

Previously, NetEase released the update 20250221 for Marvel Rivals, which featured the debut of the Human Torch and the Thing, bringing the two members of The Fantastic Four who were not yet playable to the shooter. The game added the new Convergence map Empire of Eternal Night: Central Park, brought the Midnight Features II event, new Twitch Drops rewards, and Invisible Woman and Human Torch skins to unlock as rewards for playing ranked matches.

In a post on the official website, Marvel Rivals revealed the patch notes for update 20250221, which will be available on March 6 from 1 am PT. The big news is the introduction of the Galacta Cosmic Adventure special event, which will start on March 7 at 1 am PT and end on April 11 at 1:59 am PT. During this period, players will obtain tokens to exchange for dice and roll them to get rewards on the board. The event’s main prize is the new Black Widow Mrs. Barnes skin, which gives Natasha Romanoff a costume inspired by the Marvel 1872 comics, which recreates the House of Ideas universe within the Wild West.

Another addition made by the update 20250221 is the new Marvel Rivals mode called Clone Rumble, which will be released on March 7 at 1 am PT. The devs define Clone Rumble as a mode where “strategy, teamwork, and chaos take center stage,” since players can only select the same hero. Additionally, the patch includes optimizations such as the option for players to report quitters while still in the match, and bug fixes affecting heroes such as Loki and Wolverine. Another tweak corrected terrain errors that caused characters to get stuck in strange areas.

While this is a relatively minor update compared to the previous patch, which was the mid-season update, the future holds big news for players. Leaks indicate that Marvel Rivals Season 2 may focus on the Hellfire Club, one of the most famous groups in the comics. 3. Persistent Pyro-Prison: Fixed an issue that the Human Torch’s Pyro-Prison wouldn’t promptly disappear upon his defeat. No more lingering flames!

4. Loki’s Blessing Blunder: Fixed a problem where if Loki and his doppelganger placed Regeneration Domains that overlapped and Loki walked over the overlapped area, then back into his own Regeneration Domain, it would lose its healing effect. Now, the trickster can heal without a hitch!

5. Punisher’s Missile Mayhem: Addressed a rare issue where the Punisher’s Ultimate Ability would sometimes continue to detect enemies and fire missiles during network disruptions. The Punisher’s firepower is now accurate, even in chaos!

6. Hela’s Knockback Kinks: Resolved an inconsistency where Hela would sometimes be launched up after unleashing her Ultimate Ability. The Goddess of Death will now fly firm to rain destruction her foes!

7. Wolverine’s Leap of Faith: Fixed a quirk where characters launched up by Wolverine’s Ultimate Ability would sometimes exhibit exaggerated jumping abilities. The mutant’s effect is now properly contained!

8. Jeff’s Ice Surprise: Corrected a bug where when the Team-Up Ability is active, Jeff the Land Shark could launch Frozen Spitballs that exceed expectations via certain actions. The aquatic cutie’s attacks are now as intended!

9. Hela’s Vehicle Visibility: Fixed an issue where after Hela releases her Ultimate Ability, sometimes she may not be immediately detected when near the mission vehicle. Now her presence will be felt.

10. Adam’s Ultimate Energy Fail: Resolved a problem where if Adam Warlock’s Ultimate Ability failed in certain areas (like cliff edges), 50% energy wouldn’t be returned. The hero’s energy is now properly restored!

11. Peni Parker’s Positioning Predicament: Fixed a positioning issue that could sometimes occur when Peni was hit by Namor’s Ultimate Ability. The mech pilot is now perfectly aligned for battle!
