What Was Revealed About the Kimetsu x MLB Collab?

When the partnership was announced a few days ago, not much information was released. But now it has been confirmed that the collab is part of the Tokyo Series, as previously imagined. An anime video produced by studio ufotable was released, and exclusive merch will be available during the event.

The video features the five Japanese players who will be participating in these games, including Shohei Ohtani (Los Angeles Dodgers), one of the best baseball players in the world. The others are:

  • Roki Sasaki (Los Angeles Dodgers)
  • Seiya Suzuki (Chicago Cubs)
  • Shota Imanaga (Chicago Cubs)
  • Yoshinobu Yamamoto (Los Angeles Dodgers)

In the short anime, Sakonji Urokodaki, a retired Water Hashira, watches the game live and comments on it. He mentions that the players seem to be good at breathing techniques. He then remembers Tanjiro. By the end of it, we also see many action scenes from Demon Slayer.

It is also mentioned that the first time that an American baseball team ever went to Japan was in 1913, the first year of the Taisho period (when Demon Slayer takes place).

More information about the exclusive merchandise will be revealed soon:

Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle To Be Released In Late 2025

Over the weekend, it was revealed that the first movie of the Infinity Castle trilogy, which is likely to include the final arc of the story, will be released in Japan on July 18, 2025. Yesterday, Crunchyroll confirmed that the movie will debut in the US and Canada on September 12, with other countries to follow in September and possibly October. Sony Pictures had accidentally leaked the international release date of the movie a few months ago.

So far, there is no official information about the following movies, but rumors suggest that a new movie will be released every two years. This means that the second movie will be out in 2027 and the last one in 2029, if these rumors are correct.

Demon Slayer is available to stream on Crunchyroll, subbed and dubbed in many languages. It may also be on Netflix and other streaming services in select countries.
