Brant Team Composition Guide For Wuthering Waves

Brant Team Composition Guide For Wuthering Waves

Wuthering Waves characters possess a wide variety of kits, and the best thing about them is the synergy they create with other characters. Brant is no exception to this, and as the Captain of the Troupe of Fools, his easy-going personality is easily depicted in the way he fights.

As a Fusion Sword Resonator, Brant is easily one of the most versatile characters in Wuthering Waves, and that’s all because of his role as a Healer, Sub-DPS, and Support. His main mechanics revolve around his Forte Circuit and Resonance Liberation, as they both passively heal the team and provide strong buffs to the next character entering the field. Brant works as a powerful sustain and support unit with Sub-DPS capabilities, so here are all the teams you can slot Brant into if you are planning on getting him.

Brant + Changli + Sanhua

Quick Swap DPS Team

Wuthering Waves- Brant + Changli + Sanhua

Full DPS teams are the cream of the crop for characters like Brant. He works perfectly with them, and that’s simply because of his role as a Sub DPS and DPS in this team. You’ll basically use his Outro Skill to buff his Main DPS’ (Changli in this instance) Fusion and Resonance Skill DMG and then keep swapping the role back and forth between the two, since Changli allows for swap cancel more easily than the other characters. The same can be said for Xiangli Yao, but that’s only if you don’t have Changli.

This is honestly the best team, as all three characters will contribute to the damage output and make use of Brant’s buffs. If you’re worried about team survivability, remember that Brant’s Resonance Liberation heals, and there’s also a chance to trigger a shield. However, if you’re still apprehensive, feel free to swap the third DPS for a Healer like Verina or Shorekeeper. On the other hand, if you don’t have Sanhua, use Encore, Xiangli Yao, or even Havoc Rover as your third DPS.

Brant + Jinhsi + Zhezhi

Sustain Support Team

Wuthering Waves- Brant + Jinhsi + Zhezhi

Despite Brant’s time in the spotlight as a Sub DPS character, he also has Healing characteristics. If you have Jinhsi, he works perfectly in this team for survivability. Jinhsi will work as your main DPS, and Zhezhi will come in as the Sub DPS (if you don’t have Zhezhi, opt for a character like Mortefi or Yinlin to create more coordinated attacks). The rotation works like this: Sub DPS of your choice > Brant > Jinhsi.

Wuthering Waves: Phoebe Team Composition Guide

Phoebe team comp in Wuthering Waves can either support her role as a main DPS or include Resonators that work around Spectro Frazzle.

Brant’s Resonance Liberation heals the entire team and so does his Forte Circuit. His Forte Circuit heals the team passively during Bravo accumulation, and it’s only after the Bravo is fully charged does he get a shield. Should you wish to use this version of Brant, just know that you don’t need to make a drastic change to his Echo stats, as his kit is built off Energy Recharge, and that also correlates to how much he heals. On the other hand, you can also use Brant as a Sub DPS/Healer here and make use of his Outro Skill buffs, which will indeed buff Jinhsi’s Resonance Skill DMG (if you don’t have Jinhsi, feel free to use Carlotta or Jiyan).

Brant + Sanhua + Shorekeeper

Main DPS/Hypercarry Team

Wuthering Waves-Brant + Sanhua + Shorekeeper

This team purely focuses on using Brant as the Main DPS, and that means most of Brant’s DMG goes under Basic Attack. You’ll be giving all the buffs to him, and Sanhua is your best teammate for that. She’s the queen of Sub DPS due to her fast rotations and Basic Attack DMG bonus. If you don’t have Sanhua, you can use characters like Yangyang for energy restoration and crowd control or Mortefi and Zhezhi for off-field DMG.

For the last slot, you’ll need a Support like Shorekeeper for teamwide buffs. It’s also imperative to use the Rejuvenating Glow Set on your Support to trigger these buffs and make your attacks more coordinated. If you don’t have Shorekeeper, feel free to use either Baizhi or Verina.
