Destiny 2: 8 Tips For The Nether
Players will be well-served by following a few handy tips while navigating the Nether in Destiny 2.
Since most builds involved with Episode Heresy involve Arc, a lot of the following Exotics will be reliant on said subclass, or Prismatic. Destiny 2’s best Titan Exotic Armor in Episode Heresy will truly change the game for every build in Dungeons, Raids, Nightfalls, and more, so long as the Cryptarch is feeling generous.
1
An Insurmountable Skullfort
Constantly Use Charged Melee Hits for Free Health and Power
- Armor Piece: Helmet
- Armor Perk: Transfusion Matrix – Final blows with Arc melees trigger health regeneration and fully restore a melee charge. Melee hits grant Arc melee energy.
An Insurmountable Skullfort has always been a quiet joy to Arc Titans, but things are better than ever with Episode Heresy. An Insurmountable Skullfort works wonderfully in ad-dense situations, where players can spam their Thunderclap melee, which will restore fully as soon as it hits and eliminates one enemy. Being able to throw down endless Thunderclaps will eradicate ads, provide permanent healing to players, and feel pretty great doing it.
2
Wormgod Caress
Increase Melee Damage With Every Melee Elimination or Finisher
- Armor Piece: Gauntlets
- Armor Perk: Burning Fists – Defeating a target with melee or a finisher grants escalating melee damage, which decays over time. Higher levels of Burning Fists grant increased weapon damage.
While not the most visually appealing Exotic Armor, Wormgod Caress doesn’t need to look pretty to be all-powerful. With Wormgod Caress in use, players are going to need to punch things, as they require plenty of maintenance. Melee kills will increase charges, and each charge provides even more melee damage to the point where players can deal over 30% more damage. However, Wormgod Caress does drain pretty fast, so players are going to need ad-heavy areas for this to work, but the bonus is that it also works for Glaives.
3
Synthoceps
Stronger Melee Strikes Against Enemies When Surrounded
- Armor Piece: Gauntlets
- Armor Perk: Biotic Enhancements – When you’re surrounded, gain increased melee and Super damage, as well as improved weapon handling and reload speed.
Synthoceps are permanently active as soon as players enter a realm with countless enemies. The Synthoceps Exotic for Titans is essential, and easily one of the most popular pieces of Exotic Armor for how they grant increased melee and super damage when surrounded, and the way that they improve the handling and reload speed of Glaives, as well as the melee damage of them, makes it perfect for those trying to build into Glaives for Episode Heresy.

4
ACD/0 Feedback Fence
Earn Armor Charge from Melee Hits and Emit Jolting Burst
- Armor Piece: Gauntlets
- Armor Perk: Fury Conductors – Melee hits grant Armor Charge, and you take less melee damage while you have Armor Charge. Taking melee damage causes you to emit a burst of damaging Arc energy that Jolts targets, consuming your Armor Charge and dealing more damage based on the number of stacks consumed.
Since Titans love to punch things, try out ACD/0 Feedback Fence to provide a retaliation against the assaulting enemies of the Light. With Fury Conductors as the Armor Perk, players will grow Armor Charge from melee hits, and if players build Armor Charge and then get hit, they will emit a defensive Jolt blast that will debuff targets and deal more damage based on the amount of stacks that have been consumed.
5
Cuirass of the Falling Star
Increase the Damage of Thundercrash and Earn Super Energy on Melee Kills
- Armor Piece: Chest Armor
- Armor Perk: Glorious Charge – Greatly increases your Thundercrash damage and grants you damage resistance after impact. Melee final blows while amplified grants you Super energy.
It’s time to crash into everything with a large hitbox and health pool, as Cuirass of the Falling Star is the gold standard for Arc Titans who want to use Thundercrash to charge into enemies and make them explode with Arc energy. This Exotic Chest Armor is essential for Dungeons, Raids, and Nightfalls, as Thundercrash will deal massive damage to impacted enemies, provide players with enough resistance to escape after use, and charge quicker with every Amplified melee kill.
6
Hazardous Propulsion
Fire Rockets by Activating Class Ability and Increase Rocket Damage
- Armor Piece: Chest Armor
- Armor Perk: Danger Close – Weapon precision hits or final blows have a chance to load a Kinetic Exodus rocket. Activating your class ability fires loaded Exodus rockets. Damaging targets with Exodus rockets temporarily increases the damage you deal with all other rockets.
Hazardous Propulsion is also a solid choice for Titans, especially those who use the Storm’s Keep Fragment so that they can accumulate Bolt Charge from behind their Rally Barricade, which also regenerates every 30 seconds, but faster with the right Mods and Perks. Being able to shoot off rockets and build Bolt Charge in such quick succession is the key to one-phasing a lot of endgame bosses.

7
Heart of Inmost Light
Use One Ability to Empower the Other Two for Stronger Damage
- Armor Piece: Chest Armor
- Armor Perk: Overflowing Light – Using an ability empowers the other two abilities. Empowered means abilities have faster regen, melees and grenades do more damage, and Barricades have more hitpoints.
Since Barricade and Storm’s Keep are essential aspects to builds in Episode Heresy, using Heart of Inmost Light will be noticeably amazing, since players are going to want to use Barricades, charged melee strikes, and grenades, to empower whatever two abilities were not used so that they charge up faster and feel more powerful. Since players are throwing down Barricades for Bolt Charge, empowering melee and grenade charges means more damage output for every attack.
8
Peregrine Greaves
Airborne Seismic Strike Can One-Shot Most Powerful Enemies and Restore Melee Charge
- Armor Piece: Leg Armor
- Armor Perk: Peregrine Strike – All shoulder charge abilities deal bonus damage when activated in the air. Damaging mini-bosses, Tormentors, or Champions with your shoulder charge refunds your melee. Provides a small benefit to the airborne effectiveness stat of all weapons.
Arc Titans that use Peregrine Greaves will want to use Seismic Strike, where they will claim victory from on high as they enter into airborne while sprinting so that they can use their charged melee strike on a powerful enemy, like a Champion or mini-boss, to instantly kill them. This is perfect for Sundered Doctrine against those pesky Omen and Harbinger, and each kill will instantly replenish the Seismic Strike to do it all over again.
