Cyberpunk 2077: 13 Best Quotes

Some quotes in Cyberpunk stand above the rest.

With literal millions of ways to combine perks, cyberware, and weapons, it can be easy to feel lost when choosing where to spend your precious points. Luckily, the best combinations don’t require unlocking every branch on the skill tree, and can even be combined to create the ultimate edgerunner.

10

Crouching Tiger

Multitasker, Shinobi Sprint, Serpentine

A handful of perks allow you to build mitigation chance, which automatically negates damage depending on the percentage. The Ninjutsu perk in the Cool tree increases this mitigation chance just by crouching, and also unlocks the ability to sprint while doing so.

The Serpentine and Shinobi Sprint perks both increase this mitigation chance to 60 percent and decrease the stamina cost for sprinting. Adding Multitasker from the Reflexes tree allows you to shoot while crouch sprinting, making you nearly impossible to hit while also being able to fire back, never having to rely on cover again.

9

Deathracer

Fury Road, Gearhead, Carhacker

Especially in the Badlands, this combination of perks makes you the ultimate driver while being able to destroy anything in your way. The Gearhead perk is especially useful as it makes car-mounted weapons far more deadly and allows you to reload them much faster.

If you are using a Sandevistan or Kerenzikov instead of a Cyberdeck, replace Carhacker with Road Warrior to be able to use those while driving. The best car for these perks is the Militech Hellhound, which can be bought at an Auto Fixer and contains both a machine turret and missiles.

A max level cyberdeck will allow you to detonate vehicles using Carhacker.

8

Quickhack Netrunner

Data Recycler, Speculation, System Overwhelm

After mastering quickhacks, the next step is attempting to optimize the queue system that best suits your playstyle. However, damage focused quickhacks are best suited for using the queue system, and this is because of the System Overwhelm perk.

This perk adds damage for each unique quickhack dealing damage in the queue, which requires uploading Overheat, Short Circuit, and Contagion separately for max damage. The other two perks each allow you to retain and regenerate RAM to be able to upload repeatedly to other enemies without having to resort to backup weapons.

7

Melee Speed Demon

Juggernaut, Mad Dash, Aerodynamic

While melee-focused characters can be as strong as those with guns, certain perks need to be acquired to do so with speed and safety. The Adrenaline Rush mode needs to be unlocked first to be able to regenerate health and gain extra speed with the Juggernaut perk.

Cyberpunk 2077: 10 Best Katanas

From the Tsumetogi to the Cocktail Stick, here are the best katanas in Cyberpunk 2077.

Mad Dash and Aerodynamic allow you to quickly dash towards enemies and close the distance without worrying about taking damage. To make the best use of this combo, start combat by using a health item to activate Adrenaline Rush, which will allow you to zip across the battlefield, bouncing from enemy to enemy.

Any leg cyberware can be used to strengthen the effects of these perks.

6

Early Game Head Start

Lucky Day, Chipware Connoisseur, Forcekill Cypher

If you’re focused on upgrading cyberware and crafting quickhacks, these three perks are absolutely necessary to do so efficiently. Forcekill Cypher will give you the opportunity to gain all available resources while hacking access points, including more eddies, which you would otherwise have to abandon in most cases.

Lucky Day is also important early on as you will end up with more crafting components to use for ammo, new weapons, and upgrading cyberware. The Chipware Connoisseur perk gives you a way to optimize these cyberware upgrades to better match your playstyle.

You can easily refund these perks after they are no longer useful.

5

Spray And Pray (For Them)

Terminal Velocity, Targeting Prism, Practice Makes Perfect

After obtaining smart weapon cyberware that unlocks auto-targeting, you will start to see the benefits of not having to aim. Both Terminal Velocity and Targeting Prism exponentially increase the usefulness of smart weapons by allowing you to target more enemies and lock on faster.

Although there are smart weapons in every weapon class, the best ones, especially iconic weapons, are SMGs. This is where Practice Makes Perfect comes in, allowing you to quickly stack critical hit chance and damage with these guns, which is ideal for smart weapons that auto-target headshots.

4

Sci-Fi Stealth Archer

Killer Instinct, Long Shot, Nerves of Tungsten-Steel

Few things are more satisfying in FPS games than lining up one-hit-kill shots that don’t alert enemies. By using a silenced weapon, you can even do this to some of the highest-health enemies with only a few perks and at any range.

Killer Instinct is the first perk you will get, and is a flat percentage bonus to damage with silenced weapons, and is fairly substantial. Long Shot allows you to stay far away from danger, but combines with Nerves of Tunsten-Steel to always deal max damage the longer your range, which is ideal for silenced snipers.

3

High-Functioning Cyberpsycho

Ticking Time Bomb, Extended Warranty, Edgerunner

Requiring the Berserk or Sandevistan cyberware to be effective, these perks allow you to go into a rage that greatly boosts survivability and damage. Edgerunner is the most important perk, as it allows you to enter the Fury state upon killing enemies.

Apart from side jobs and main missions, the streets of Night City have gigs waiting for you. And some are pretty tough.

Extended Warranty works with Ticking Time Bomb to improve the duration and damage of your cyberware, which also allows the Fury state to be extended for an entire combat with a Sandevistan. If you want to optimize the Fury state chance, make sure you don’t have the Renaissance Punk perk as it will lower your Fury chance.

2

Demolitions Expert

Jailbreak, Doomlauncher, Burn This city

Perhaps one of the most underrated cyberware weapons, the Projectile Launch System can be improved to devastating proportions with these perks. The greatest improvement to this weapon is through the Phantom Liberty DLC, with the Launch Capacity Override Relic and Jailbreak perk.

Doomlauncher and Burn This City work together to buff almost every aspect of the PLS, while potentially allowing you to fire endless grenades with each enemy hit. If you don’t have Phantom Liberty, Demolitions Surplus and Coming In Hot are a close second to replacing the Relic perks.

1

Optimized Camo

Vanishing Act, Emergency Cloaking, Extended Warranty

The strongest cyberware upgrade for stealth gameplay is the Optical Camo, allowing you to turn invisible and make use of stealth perks even while in combat. This is primarily done by activating the Emergency Cloaking Relic perk from Phantom Liberty, which allows you to automatically reenter stealth.

Vanishing Act combined with its prerequisite, Creeping Death, both upgrade the Optical Camo to make you move much faster and extend its duration. Extended Warranty makes you nearly permanently invisible with this cyberware by extending this duration even further, giving you plenty of time to clear the area of enemies.
