World of Warcraft Patch 11.1 Secret Fifth Cartel is Now Available

Darkfuse Solutions LLC, the secret fifth Cartel faction in World of Warcraft Patch 11.1, can officially be unlocked in the game right now by completing the Liberation of Undermine raid. After a short unlock quest, fans can begin gaining reputation with this World of Warcraft faction to earn a unique toy, mount, transmog, and several consumable items to help within Undermine.

World of Warcraft Patch 11.1 was released on February 25, bringing with it the Cartels of Undermine – a new Renown faction composed of four Cartels: Bilgewater, Blackwater, Steamwheedle, and Venture Company. However, World of Warcraft teased a secret fifth Cartel players would be able to discover later on in the patch.

Just over a week after the launch of Patch 11.1, World of Warcraft surprises players with a first look at what is coming next in The War Within.

Now that Season 2 has officially started as of March 4, and the Liberation of Undermine raid is available, fans have access to this new faction. Darkfuse Enforcement, a private security firm that works for Jastor Gallywix, is one of the major antagonistic groups in Patch 11.1. That said, after Gallywix’s defeat in the Liberation of Undermine raid, Darkfuse finds themselves out of a job. Once the raid companion quest is complete, players discover a letter on the lobby table of the Incontinental Hotel written by Sitch Lowdown, a Darkfuse Goblin. After meeting with him – and learning that Darkfuse was once the Blackfuse Company that worked for Garrosh during World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria – fans gain the ability to earn reputation with the rebranded Darkfuse Solutions LLC across their Warband, with Lowdown as the faction’s vendor.

How to Unlock Darkfuse Solutions Faction in WoW

• Complete the Liberation of Undermine: The House Loses raid quest.
  • Normal, Heroic, and Mythic Liberation of Undermine are open now, Story Mode opens March 11, and the final wing of Raid Finder opens March 25.
• Find the Overly-Sealed Letter on the lobby table at the Incontinental Hotel.
• Speak with Sitch Lowdown in a sewer grate in Hovel Hill.

Reputation rewards for Darkfuse Solutions include several consumables usable in Undermine, including a rocket glider and an item to summon the Darkfuse Precipitant, the Cartel Elite associated with the World of Warcraft faction. The Atomic Regoblinator toy, Darkfuse Demolisher mount, and Darkfuse Lowdown Coat chest transmog also await those who raise their reputation to Honored, Revered, and Exalted respectively.

Darkfuse Solutions LLC Rewards

Reputation with Darkfuse Solutions is earned by exchanging Market Research for Boxes of Darkfuse Miscellany from Lowdown. Market Research is dropped from normal Undermine mobs, rares, Elites, and Cartel Elites, as well as from S.C.R.A.P. dig site chests. It takes a total of 84 Boxes of Darkfuse Miscellany – or 8,400 Market Research – to hit Exalted, but consumable items available from Lowdown can increase its drop rate in exchange for penalties that weaken the character.

Darkfuse Solutions is separate from the four Cartels of Undermine, so players cannot sign a weekly contract with them, nor will earning Darkfuse reputation increase their global Renown. That said, fans will want to unlock this faction as soon as possible to start earning Market Research – and with Story Mode Liberation of Undermine unlocking in World of Warcraft on March 11, it should be easy for all players to do so soon.
