Riot Games has revealed Valorant’s latest Agent, named Waylay. She is the 28th Agent to be added to the game, just weeks after Riot Games announced Tejo’s arrival in the game. She is a prismatic radiant from Thailand who has the ability to transform herself into light as she dashes across the maps. Here is everything you need to know about Valorant new Agent Waylay.

Valorant New Agent Waylay Ability
Waylay is the eighth Duelist and is added after Tejo. She joins the likes of Jett, Neon, and Raze. If you want to play Waylay in the game, you have to unlock her in the game. For that, you need to spend 1000 VALORANT Points. Alternatively, you can get her from the Agent Recruitment event by collecting 20,000 XP through the completion of daily and weekly missions.

Basic Abilities
- Saturate: During this attack, she throws a cluster of light that explodes when it comes in contact with the ground. It also slows the enemy’s movement.
- Lightspeed: This is one of the most talked about abilities in the game. When you use this ability, Waylay will dash forward twice. The first one will have an upward trajectory. The second one will be triggered by an alternate fire.
Signature Ability
- Refract: She uses this power to create a beacon of light. You can reactivate it to travel back to the beacon. Whenever she is travelling as light, she is invulnerable.
Ultimate Ability
- Convergent Paths: When you use her Ultimate, you will be able to create an afterimage of yourself. It also creates a beam of light that expands and hinders the enemy’s movement and gives you a speed boost.
VALORANT New Agent Waylay Release Date
After being announced at the VALORANT Masters Bangkok, many fans have been waiting for the Agent’s release date. Waylay will make her way into the game on March 5, 2025. This is in line with the release of Season 2025 Act 2 (Episode 10 Act 2). The Duelist will be added to the game after the server maintenance for different regions. This will ensure that her incorporation in the game is seamless.
