A lot of modern video games have their own in-game economies, many of which are very finely balanced. As a result, even the tiniest of oversights on the developer’s part can completely break these virtual economies, allowing players to fill their pockets with as much money as they please. Luckily for Monster Hunter Wilds players, we just found one of these oversights.

Monster Hunter Wilds Complete Monster List (Locations, Resistances, and Weaknesses)
All of the monsters in Monster Hunter Wilds have their own strengths and weaknesses and many can be found in multiple locations.
The game allows players to respawn certain creatures by resting at a campsite, though forces them to spend Guild Points when doing so in an attempt to prevent this system from being abused. However, this particular Monster Hunter Wilds money-farming method also provides players with more Guild Points than it costs them to rest, effectively allowing them to farm indefinitely.
The Best Way to Farm Money in Monster Hunter Wilds
There are plenty of ways to farm Zenny in Monster Hunter Wilds, but the best method sees players make use of the capture net. Rather than capturing monsters, though, they’ll be using it to catch fish, as the net is infinitely more efficient than the fishing rod. It also allows players to catch more than one fish at once, which comes in very handy in small pools of water that have a lot of high-value fish.
The best place to take advantage of this is in the underground lake area to the north of the number 8 marker in the Scarlet Forest, the entrance to which is hidden behind a waterfall. Players will want to set up a pop-up camp here as soon as possible, as this will allow them to fast travel directly to the spot and then rest at the camp to advance time. Doing so will require 300 Guild Points, but they needn’t worry too much about that.
To begin farming Zenny, players should head to the underground lake and use the capture net to catch all of the fish in the water, being sure to grab the fish in both sections of the lake. They can also harvest ore from a couple of mining outcrops and grab an Ancient Wyvern Coin from the platform on the far side of the lake if they like. Once there are no fish left, they should fast travel back over to the tent and rest until evening, being sure to set the environment to Plenty.
Each cycle only takes a couple of minutes and will reward players with a ton of Gold and Platinum scales, which sell for 1,000 and 2,000 Zeny respectively. They can expect to get around 200,000 Zenny’s worth of scales for around twenty minutes of farming, which works out to be more than 500,000 Zenny per hour. Better still, because each fish they catch will reward them with Guild Points, players can usually expect to increase their GP total by a few thousand over that same period.
