In the Solo Leveling series, no human can compete with these national-level hunters.

Of the countries of the world, the United States Of America is considered one of the strongest. This is because they have the highest number of S-class hunters and are constantly poaching talent from around the world to bolster their ranks. With Korea’s Sung Jinwoo being the focus of the story, the American hunters aren’t given as much attention in the webtoon. However, the USA has some of the strongest hunters in the world and two national level hunters.

Norma Selner

The United States’ Biggest Secret Weapon

Affiliation

Federal Bureau of Hunters

Debut

Chapter 109

Rank

NA

Norma Selner will probably not count in many people’s books as a hunter as her abilities, while formidable, are not usually useful in combat. The elderly lady is a big reason for the strength of the United States and their hunters due to her unique ability. In the world of Solo Leveling, Norma is an upgrader. This is someone who is able to enhance a hunter’s ability.

This is incredible as in Solo Leveling, the rank a hunter falls into when they awaken, is the rank they stay in for the rest of their careers and lives. The only exception seemed to be Jinwoo, who was able to level up and grow stronger to the point of being untouchable. Norma’s ability was also what was able to position America as the choice destination for some of the strongest hunters and this made the Federal Bureau of Hunters in USA, a powerful organization.

Solo Leveling: The Best Villains, Ranked

The Solo Leveling manhwa is full of complex, fascinating villains. These are the best that Sung Jinwoo finds himself up against.

Hwang Dongsoo was clearly shown to be powerful in the Solo Leveling webcomic and he set his sights on Jinwoo who he wanted revenge on for killing his older brother. Dongsoo is also shown to have a bit of a stubborn streak, as evidenced by his refusal to listen to Thomas Andre’s warning to not mess with Jinwoo, and his defiance in the face of overwhelming strength when faced with Jinwoo in battle.

2

Christopher Reed

It Would Have Been Great To See Reed In Action More

Affiliation

Christopher Reed was considered the third most powerful hunter in the world and was a national-level hunter. He, unfortunately, found himself up against three monarchs after they invaded his home and trapped him in a dimensional gap.

Solo Leveling: The Strongest Monarchs, Ranked

The monarchs are at the pinnacle of the power ranking in Solo Leveling; however, they are not equals in terms of strength.

Reed showed his strength by taking on the monarchs in the hopes that he could at least take down one of them, but it was not to be as he was completely overwhelmed and was killed with his mutilated corpse left to be found at his mansion. While his power was talked about quite a lot over the course of the series and he was even offended at the idea that there was anyone who could kill him, not as much is known about what else he could do. He did return in Ragnarok, but suffered death at the hands of Thomas Andre.

1

Thomas Andre

The Only Human Hunter Able To Touch Jinwoo

Affiliation

Scavengers Guild

Debut

Chapter 83

Rank

S-Class

Thomas Andre is considered the strongest hunter in the world, apart from Jinwoo of course. He is the leader of the Scavengers Guild, the strongest guild in America, and a national-level hero. His greatest claim to fame was his battle with the dragon, Kamish, who he was able to defeat and take its fang. Thomas’ strength is evident by how others treat him, like when Dongsoo, who normally listens to no one, is willing to bend the knee to Andre.

Strong as Andre is, he was still no match for Jinwoo. The pair would clash when the latter was hellbent on killing Dongsoo and Andre tried to intervene. While the fight was spectacular, it was also pretty one-sided, as Andre too a beating from Jinwoo and had to concede defeat.
