Nisqy to join Team Vitality as a support for the 2025 LEC season
According to a report by Sheep Esports, Belgian player Yasin “Nisqy” Dinçer is set to join the French organization for the remainder of the LEC season. In a surprising turn of events, Nisqy will replace Zdravets “Hylissang” Iliev Galabov as the starting support player.
After a poor season on SK Gaming last year, which saw them eliminated in the first round of the LEC Season Finals, Nisqy ended up teamless at the start of the 2025 season. Although he has several years of competitive experience in the top-tier competitions, having also played in the LCS previously, joining Team Vitality as a support has raised concerns by several members of the community, who question Nisqy’s ability to adapt as a support in a short amount of time.
Why the move can work
Recently, the player has been focusing on playing as support in his ranked games, currently peaking at around 931 LP (at the time of writing) on the EUW ranked ladder. Additionally, the player is notoriously known for his team-oriented playstyle, enabling his teammates more than collecting the resources for himself.
While both are good reasons to back up his transition to the role, Team Vitality’s decision to pick up Nisqy instead of promoting the support player Fleshy from the academy comes as a surprise.
The latter had previous LCS experience and has been considered a strong player throughout his team in the ERLs, especially considering he played on Karmine Corp Blue in 2024 with Caliste, who’s now promoted to KC’s main team. Bringing in Nisqy seems like a risky decision, considering the amount of variables involved.
Nisqy will be playing alongside Carzzy in the bottom lane, reuniting with his former teammate from the MAD Lions days. While the LEC is on break now that the Winter split is over, Team Vitality has decided to ignite the hype ahead of the Spring Split with a bold move, to say the least.
