Monster Hunter Wilds Launches First Time-Limited Event Quests

Capcom has launched the first time-limited event quests for Monster Hunter Wilds, offering players across all platforms two weeks (until March 18) to participate and obtain various unique rewards. Monster Hunter Wilds players can already tackle the first two quests, while the rest will unlock over the next two weeks.

Monster Hunter Wilds is off to a strong start. The game has achieved a record-breaking sales milestone, although it has struggled with performance issues, many of which remain unresolved. The new entry in the popular Monster Hunter franchise introduces numerous improvements from the previous game, while retaining some of the elements that made the series popular, such as its cinematic monster fights. Despite the technical complications, Capcom is fully committed to polishing the game, promising future patches as well as an upcoming free update. But for now, the developer has brought two weeks of special content for players.

Monster Hunter Wilds players can already take on the first two time-limited event quests. For those looking to obtain special armor or rare materials, Capcom introduced the “Kut-Ku Gone Cuckoo” quest, located in the Monster Hunter Wilds’ Scarlet Forest ecosystem. Here, players can obtain the Mimiphyta α headgear by hunting the Yian Kut-Ku, with the event available until March 18.

First Two Monster Hunter Wilds Limited-Time Events Run Until March 18

Players can also take on the “Stalking Supper” quest event to obtain new ingredients and broaden their cooking options in Monster Hunter Wilds. This special quest requires a Hunter Rank of 9 or higher and tasks players with hunting the Quematrice to gather Kunafa Cheese. The Stalking Supper quest will last only one week, so players have until March 11 to complete it. Starting on March 11, however, is the “Tongue-Tied” event quest, where players can earn Hard Armor Spheres and Advanced Armor Spheres to upgrade their armor. This quest will require a higher HR of 21, as the completion condition is to hunt the Tempered Chatacabra.

After these first two events, Capcom has already planned three more quests to start on March 18: Ballet in the Rain, Sand-Scarred Soul, and Like a Fire Hidden by Sand. By completing these, players will be able to obtain Glowing Orbs, which can be used to customize their Monster Hunter Wilds weapon skills and armor. Moreover, the Expedition Headgear α will also be part of the rewards for completing the events. As Capcom continues to refine the game and bring more content, players can look forward to several weeks of special time-limited event quests.
