The first batch of Monster Hunter Wilds event quests are here, with plenty more on the way throughout the month. Capcom is detailing what to expect from these limited-time missions, with some armor and difficult-to-come-by cooking ingredients up for grabs if you’ve got far enough in the RPG to participate in them. So if you‘re making your way through Low Rank, or want more to do now that you’re in High Rank, these event quests are the perfect opportunity to get more out of Wilds.
Event quests are hunts that are only available for a limited time, meaning if you want their rewards you’ll need to meet their conditions and grind them out while they’re live. It’s the best chance to get some new gear or stock up on valuable Monster Hunter Wilds ingredients, and the first two quests are no exception.

Right now, you can complete the ‘Kut-Ku Gone Cuckoo’ quest in the RPG to obtain special materials for the Mimiphyta α headgear. You need to be Monster Hunter Wilds hunter rank nine or higher, but then you can grind it out for the items needed to craft the piece of headgear.
The ‘Stalking Supper’ quest is also available at the moment, and if you complete it by hunting the Quematrice, you can get some Sharp Kunafa Cheese. This ingredient can normally only be obtained by trading with the NPC Kilama, but completing this event quest also means you can get some. The cheese adds a 20-minute duration to your meal effects, alongside a bonus that “often decreases damage taken.”
On top of these two event quests, Capcom has also revealed four more missions dropping throughout March. These will offer orbs and a piece of headgear between them, so you’ll have plenty more reasons to get back into Wilds ahead of the first title update in April.
The first Monster Hunter Wilds event quests run from Tuesday March 4. The Stalking Supper quest ends on Tuesday March 11, while the Kut-Ku Gone Cuckoo quest ends on Tuesday March 18. There are even more quests leading up through to April as well.
If you want to farm these events with no hassle, we’ve got all the best Monster Hunter builds for each weapon, alongside a breakdown of all the Monster Hunter Wilds armor, too.
