Mech combat sim Mecha BREAK has surpassed 300,000 concurrent players on Steam, cementing it firmly as one of the most-played games right now on Steam and potentially across all platforms.

Mecha BREAK hits 300,000 Concurrent Players Following Xbox Launch

Mecha BREAK has seen a prodigious rise in popularity since its Global Storm Mecha BREAK open beta launch. The game quickly hit a top spot on Steam after launch, beating Marvel Rivals as the forth most-played game on Steam. It was only dethroned with the release of Monster Hunter Wilds, and still sits in the top 10.

Mecha BREAK’s open beta has opened up players to a new world of mech combat – fast-paced and frenetic, there’s a weight and speed to Mecha BREAK’s Strikers.

And, thanks to the success of the open beta launch, and Xbox beta starting, players can get their hands on even more Strikers. Xbox players will receive 2,000 Corite (in-game currency) which will allow them to instantly unlock 4-5 additional mechs.

Beyond this, players on both Xbox and PC are receiving 1,000 Corite as a celebration for reaching over 300,000 concurrent players at the launch of our beta. That’s at least two additional Strikers.

“The ‘Global Storm’ Open Beta Test, available to all players on PC and Xbox Series X|S, includes all gameplay features that will be available at launch. Players will experience the opening tutorial and introduction, character and mech customization, an explorable space station, all three core game modes, a training room, and thirteen distinct mechs or ‘Strikers.’”

If you’re an Xbox user and are looking to get in on the action, all you need to do is head to the on console Microsoft Store and search for the Mecha BREAK demo. Download it and you’re ready to go.
