The Demon Slayer movie trilogy is about to begin very soon. The first movie, which will start the Infinity Castle arc, will be released this year, in 2025.
Up until now, fans only knew the Japanese release date of this movie, which is obviously always the first. The Japanese release tends to be months ahead of other countries, which is unfortunate, but the gap has slowly been improving.
Today, it has been revealed when North American countries, notably the USA and Canada, will be getting this movie. The theatrical release date for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle first part has been set for September 12, 2025. This is only about 2 months apart from the Japanese release, which is scheduled for July 18, 2025.

Most Countries Will Get The Movie In September
The US and Canada will not be the first countries after Japan to get the Demon Slayer movie; far from that actually. Based on information revealed by Crunchyroll, some countries will actually be getting the movie a month earlier, in August. Countries getting this movie in August are Malaysia, Singapore, and Pakistan, which have a release date scheduled on August 14. Meanwhile, Cambodia, Indonesia, and Vietnam, will get the movie on August 15, while the Philippines will get the movie on August 20.
However, the vast majority of countries will be getting this movie in September, just like the US and Canada, though most will be getting it a day earlier. September 11 has the longest country list, and includes many countries from Latin America, the Middle East, and Europe.
German-speaking countries, which includes Germany, Austria, and German-speaking Switzerland will be the last in line to get the movie, and have the release date scheduled for September 25. Either way, the dates don’t seem to be too far apart, and people from all around the world will be able to enjoy the Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Movie around the same time period.
To check their individual countries, fans should check the Crunchyroll website, as the list is long. Many countries are, however, yet to be listed.
