When it comes to blacksmithing, you will need two main things: a recipe and the materials. When you get a recipe, you will be able to see which materials you need to gather in order to craft the tool you want. However, most of the time, you won’t know exactly where to get certain materials, and Deer Skin is one of the few materials that requires focus on how to obtain it.
How To Get Deer Skin

is among the blacksmithing items that can be used to craft new weapons, armor, and other equipment. While this item can be found in certain chests that you can loot in the world, it is not the most reliable way to get it.
This is where certain butchers and armourers come in, as they can sell you Deer Skin for a low price.
In the first region, Trosky, it is quite hard to find, but after you reach the Kuttenberg region, you will have multiple places where you can get it.
Kuttenberg is a huge region, and when you first arrive, you won’t be able to reach the main settlement directly. Instead, you’ll find yourself in a small village in the far west. From here, you’ll
After you reach the city, you will find multiple butchers and armourers in the central area, and these are the ones that sell the Deer Skin you need.
- One Armourer, at the entrance to the west of the city near the Fountain.
- One Armourer and one Butcher, located at the Smuggler’s Den area in the center of the city.
- Three Armourers and two Blacksmiths, just north of the Smuggler’s Storehouse.
- Two Butchers, located northeast of the city, near the Jewish quarter.
When you reach one of them, interact with them and open the Trade option. This will open up their shop with all the available goods. Just head to the Materials tab, and you should be able to see the Deer Skin for sale.
Keep in mind that these are not the only locations in the game where you can get Deer Skin. There are other butchers and armourers in different locations, as well as certain traders who may have it for sale.
However, Kuttenberg city is the easiest one to reach, as you can fast travel there and get the materials quickly.
