As you journey through the game, you’ll encounter characters who lead you down their own personal storylines. These mini quests range from helping someone with their troubles to unraveling complex, hidden tales within the game’s world. For example, the Skeleton in the Closet is the continuation of the story Jan Posy of Zimburg and his brother.

How To Start The Skeleton In The Closet Quest

You need to complete the Bellatores side quest first before you can access Skeleton in the Closet, as it is a continuation of this questline.

Once you have completed Bellatores, you will need to wait a few days for Skeleton in the Closet to become available.

Make your way to the Ruins of Zimburg, located just south of Bylany, the same ruins where you found Jan Posy of Zimburg’s brother.

Here, you will find Jan Posy of Zimburg. Speak to him and ask, ‘How’s the search for the Cumans going?‘ This will automatically start the Skeleton in the Closet quest.

After you agree to help Jan Posy, you will be automatically sent to the Cuman camp. Once you arrive, you will be asked whether you want to do this alone or charge immediately.

This is purely a matter of preference; you can either go alone and sneak up on them, or charge in with the help of Jan Posy and his brother.

After dealing with the Cumans, speak to Jan Posy again. He will mention a chest that can be found in the camp, and you will need to locate it.

Luckily, the chest is easy to find – it’s inside the red tent. Simply lockpick the chest and take the Zimburg Reliquary

.

Once you have the item, return to Jan Posy and give him the reliquary. After some dialogue, the quest will be complete, and you will earn some additional Groschen.
