Monster Hunter Wilds is jam-packed with content, offering many side quests to accompany its impressive campaign. In the same vein as other games with ongoing support, Capcom has included extra objectives for you to grind after you’ve rolled credits on the story.

The bounty system allows you to chase additional rewards outside the confines of specified hunts. Participating in them will earn you helpful items, and give you something to work towards as you soldier through Monster Hunter’s never-ending gameplay loop. Here’s how to claim your bounties in the Forbidden Lands.
What Are Limited Bounties?
Limited bounties are additional objectives you can complete in exchange for in-game rewards, typically consumables, crafting materials, and Guild Points. They serve as a live service mechanic, so unlike standard side quests or story content, you’ll have to complete them before they expire in real time.
You can check to see how much longer you have to complete these quests in the top right of the View/Complete Limited Bounties menu.
How To Claim Limited Bounties
Thankfully, you do not need to manually start any bounties, as they are automatically registered to your character when they begin. To view the objectives you need to complete, visit the support desk in any of Monster Hunter Wilds’s hubs. Here you’ll be greeted with the View/Complete Limited Bounties menu.
When you complete one of the bounty requirements, you’ll be prompted to claim your just rewards. If you’ve completed them all, congratulations! Wait for new assignments to be added when the current crop expires, and you can start the process all over again.
You may notice as you start the game that not all the bounties are available to you immediately. This means that you have not progressed far enough into the campaign to access them, since these missions can reference high-rank or post-game content. Keep playing and the rest will open up to you.
