The Civitas Pragensis quest features an important choice, determining whether you will fight Erik. You can either decline or accept his duel. Here, we will tell you how to complete the quest easily and what is the best outcome.
How To Complete The Civitas Pragensis Quest
The quest will initiate right after The Italian Job is finished. Zizka will bring you the good news of Sigismund’s retreat. Exhaust all of the dialogue options, and it is time to say goodbye to Rosa Ruthard. Go to the coordinates marked on your map and talk to her.
She will kiss you goodbye if you romanced her during the Oratores quest. After that, a cutscene will commence featuring the return of Kubyenka, who everyone thought was dead. Upon his arrival, talk to him, and Kubyenka will reveal that Erik has a message for Henry.
He wants to duel with you one on one. You can either accept the duel or reject it. We would recommend accepting it to get the full experience. However, this fight is going to be the hardest so far. So, it’s fine if you aim to skip it.
Should You Fight Erik Or Not?
The decision is totally up to you. The people around you will ask you not to fight him, but in the end, it is you who will make the decision. If you don’t accept the duel, the quest will end, but if you accept it, talk to Zizka and let him know about your decision. After that, talk to the guard, and a cutscene will commence.
Shortly after the cutscene is finished, you will be given a skill check. Keeping Zizka’s advice in mind provoke and attack him. Erik is a beast; he may seem unkillable at the start, but you can defeat him.
You just need to be patient in this fight, as Erik counters a lot. When he is running toward you, it is possible to sneak in an attack. As Erik has pretty good equipment, your attacks won’t damage him every time. However, after being consistent for a while, you will be able to damage him and eventually defeat him.
Once you have defeated him, a cutscene will start, and after that, the next quest will initiate.
