While you’ll still get many of these items in-game, it’s nice knowing you can hit the ground running. Before attempting to get the Twitch Drop for Monster Hunter Wilds, you should read this guide for everything you need to do.

Obtaining what Capcom calls the Monster Hunter Wilds Hunter Help: Assistance Pack has already started on February 27, but you still have tons of time since it ends on March 20 at 8:59 PM PT.

However, unlike a lot of other Twitch Drops where you simply just watch for a certain amount of time, you’re going to be more active to earn the Assistance Pack to participate in the event.

First, you need to be watching a streamer playing Monter Hunter Wilds. Next, purchase a single monthly subscription at any tier or multi-monthly subscriptions. It can be either three months or six.

You can also gift subscriptions to earn the pack as well. There’s more freedom here since you can pick any tier and any period.

Amazon Prime subscriptions, bits, and recurring subscriptions do not count as a new subscription. So you can’t use them.

From late February till March, you will be sent codes based on whichever platform you’re playing the game on. For example, if you have Monster Hunter Wilds on the PlayStation 5, you’ll need to watch streams for PlayStation’s designated time.

The information below is a good snapshot of when to watch.

  • PlayStation – February 27, 9 PM PT to March 6, 8:59 PM PT
  • Steam – March 6, 9 PM PT to March 13, 8:59 PM PT
  • Xbox – March 13, 9 PM PT to March 20, 8:59 PM PT

With that, make sure you watch the streams at the right time — and for the right platform.

How To Claim Twitch Drops

Getting the drop can be confusing. Thankfully, the Hunter Help: Assistance Pack only requires you to input the aforementioned code.

Once you watch the stream based on the times above, you’ll be sent to your Twitch Inventory. If you don’t get a notification, head to your profile on Twitch and then select Drops and Rewards. The code should be there.

For console players, you can find the redeem code options in their respective stores. Steam users can open up the program and locate Activate a Product from the Game menu. In the new pop-up window, type in the code and you should get the pack next time you go into the game.

You won’t be able to re-use or get another code for the same platform you’re already on. If you register on PC, you can’t get another code for another pack on PC. Instead, you can opt to get codes for the other platforms. The same rules will apply; you can only use the code once.

It’s also worth noting that these codes do expire on February 27, 2026. So you have plenty of time to redeem the pack.

As mentioned earlier, the drop could be worth your time by rewarding you with high-quality resources and tools. Some of these might help you against the earlier monster fights such as Quematrice.

Here’s what you’ll get upon opening up the Twitch Drop:

  • 5 Large Barrel Bomb
  • 5 Sharp Fin
  • 2 Shock Trap
  • 5 Slinger Flash Pod
  • 3 Demon Powder
