There are five fishing-related side missions in Monster Hunter Wilds, all of which are handed out by Kanya at the Scarlet Forest base camp. Each one becomes available at different points in the story, with players needing to finish the Lurking Shadows section of Chapter 4 to unlock the final one.

All of the monsters in Monster Hunter Wilds have their own strengths and weaknesses and many can be found in multiple locations.
Each one of Kanya’s fishing missions in Monster Hunter Wilds has players catch a single fish, although some of them are much more difficult to reel in than others. Knowing where to look for each fish can save players a bunch of time, as too can understanding which bait or lure to use to attract it.
