How To Get Guild Points In Monster Hunter Wilds
Along your exploration of the vast regions in Monster Hunter Wilds, you will come across Endemic Life roaming around the areas. These harmless creatures do not disturb you while running past them on your Seikrat; however, they can be captured to earn free Guild Points. To acquire them, you must progress through the story until you access the Capture Net feature. This allows you to use the Net in the hotbar and throw it anywhere to catch creatures or materials. Most of these Endemic Life creatures give 5 Guild Points each, but you can capture multiple with a single net.
Another way to acquire Guild Points is by catching fish. You will learn the basics of fishing in Scarlet Forest, and after that, you can take out your fishing rod anywhere you see a fish for some free Guild Points. However, both of these methods yield very few Guild Points, so farming is necessary if you need a large amount. To farm this currency, head to Area 8 of Scarlet Forest and go through the waterfall.
In this newly discovered area, you will find a spot for your Pop-Up Camp—be sure to set one here as you will be using it frequently during farming. Inside the waterfall cave, there are two areas, one to the right and another to the left, past a section where you must dive into the water. Both of these areas have Golden and Platinum Fish swimming around. Golden Fish grants 50 Guild Points, while Platinum Fish provides 100 Points upon capture. Using a Net to capture them is far more effective and faster than using a fishing rod. Once you’ve captured all the fish, simply fast-travel to another region and return to your Pop-Up Camp, where the fish will respawn, making this one of the best farming spots.
Players can also trade the Scales obtained from Golden and Platinum Fish to the Stockpiles NPC for a decent amount of Zenny.
Where To Use Guild Points In Monster Hunter Wilds
Setting up Pop-Up Camps is highly useful in Monster Hunter Wilds, as they provide a fast travel point, reducing the time wasted riding across vast areas. These camps also serve as convenient spots for changing equipment, eating a meal, or grabbing items from the Item Box. However, setting up these camps requires spending a small amount of Guild Points. If you establish a camp in a dangerous location where it risks being destroyed, you will need to pay additional points to complete its construction. If Pop-Up Camps are destroyed by patrolling Large Monsters, your best option is to repair them, which also costs Guild Points.
Upon reaching High Rank, players can rest at Pop-Up Camps to change the weather and time of day at will. This process costs 300 Guild Points each time and is crucial for tracking down monsters that only appear under specific weather conditions.
Lastly, players can find Santiago, who runs the Support Ship at Windward Plains. He does not appear all the time but visits occasionally, bringing a variety of items that can be purchased with Guild Points. Players can also request specific items for Santiago to bring on his next visit.
