Although Wednesday season 1 was hilarious, fun, and surprising, some viewers didn’t like the love triangle between Wednesday, Xavier (Percy Hynes White), and Tyler Galpin (Hunter Doohan). While Lady Gaga’s Wednesday season 2 character is unknown, Jenna Ortega talked about her hopes for the role in January 2023 at the Golden Globes. According to Entertainment Weekly, she said she wanted the singer and actress to be part of the second season and she said:
“I’m sure Netflix would love that. I think Mrs. Thornhill and Wednesday had this weird mentor relationship or kind of understood each other in a certain way, so, if Lady Gaga were to be a part, I think it would have to be two monsters that understand each other.”
