Pokemon GO: Zekrom Weaknesses & Resistances

In Pokemon GO, Zekrom is a Dragon and Electric Dual-Type monster with a maximum CP of 4565 and a stat spread of 275 ATK, 211 DEF, and 205 HP. Based on this Type combination, Zekrom is resistant to Flying, Electric, Grass, Fire, Steel, and Water Types, so Trainers should look to avoid utilizing these attributes at all costs.

Instead, Trainers will want to target Zekrom’s key weaknesses to Pokemon or moves of the Fairy, Ground, Ice, and Dragon Types.

Zekrom also receives additional damage potential through the Weather Boost mechanic. When Windy or Rainy Weather is ongoing, Zekrom has a heightened chance to appear and receives boosted damage on all hits. In Pokemon GO, the best chance of taking down Zekrom in Raids is by utilizing its weaknesses to your advantage to build a team of the best-suited counters. Such counters for Zekrom involve Pokemon of the Dragon, Ice, Fairy, and Ground Types – though Pokemon outside of these types who can still utilize powerful moves within these attributes may also work well enough.
