A talented cosplayer and Pokemon fan is receiving plenty of attention from the game community after showing off their impressive cosplay of a classic character from the franchise, Sabrina. The cosplay of the fan-favorite Gym Leader, which appears to take inspiration from her appearance in Pokemon TCG Pocket, is catching the eyes of hundreds of Pokemon fans.
One of the original Gym Leaders of the Pokemon franchise, Sabrina is the leader of Saffron Gym in Saffron City, handing out the Marsh Badge to trainers strong enough to defeat her. Specializing in Psychic-type Pokemon as well as possessing psychic powers herself, Sabrina is a formidable opponent, at one point famously turning people into dolls in the anime. Pokemon TCG Pocket players can unlock Sabrina with a surefire method, who currently holds a spot as one of the top-performing Supporter cards in the entire game.

The impressive Pokemon fan’s Sabrina cosplay comes from one of Reddit’s major Pokemon pages, where they’ve appeared to model themselves after the previously mentioned Pokemon TCG Pocket Supporter card. Sporting Sabrina’s turtleneck-like dress, the cosplayer – who goes by the handle of konacos – strikes a pose nearly identical to the original card artwork. In addition to correctly-colored red eyes, the cosplay also features nearly the same haircut, as well as the black cloth around her waist, although the white gloves seem to be missing. Framed around a similar card design, the Sabrina cosplay successfully evokes its source material.
Longtime fans of Sabrina will know her core personality traits and physical appearance have remained consistent for the most part over the years, leading some fans to conjure up some of their own redesigns. A fan from the same page that the Sabrina cosplay was shown posted their redesign of Sabrina and her Alakazam, which gives the Saffron Gym Leader an even more intimidating aura.
While Sabrina will always have the closest ties with Alakazam, many Pokemon TCG fans covet Sabrina’s Gengar, part of her official Gym Leader deck. One fan even made an 18k gold card of Sabrina’s Gengar, demonstrating the lengths Pokemon fans will go to show their love for the franchise.
