However, despite the good reception to the new addition, players are noticing points where the Perks system is a little frustrating. Redditor Just-a-tush shared a concept for improving Lifeweaver’s Lifeweaving Perk and giving him area healing. With the change created by the player in the Overwatch 2 Workshop, Lifeweaving is no longer single-target and allows it to jump to an ally, providing area healing with 50% effectiveness. Currently, the Perk adds 20 healing to the next Healing Blossom which Lifeweaver activates within three seconds after using a Rejuvenating Dash. The reaction from other players was positive, praising how the idea changes the hero’s playstyle, without affecting him negatively. One of the comments even noted that they wished more Perks worked like the OP’s idea.
Lifeweaver Perks Not Getting Overwatch 2 Players Very Excited
On the Overwatch 2 subreddit, there are other discussions about the Lifeweaver Perks, with players considering them underwhelming. One complaint from these players is that, for them, the character has benefited little from the Perks compared to other supports such as Kiriko, who received double teleport, and Ana, who can make her Bionic Grenade explode twice. Lifeweaving, in particular, is singled out as a Perk with too little impact to be considered a major Perk.
While these improvements are still new to the game, Overwatch 2 is already planning big changes to Perks.
