Loki possesses a legendary weapon, Ragnir. This hammer is a powerful weapon in One Piece.

As usual, some of them are funny, while others actually contribute to the plot to a significant degree. All things considered, what’s clear is that the SBS corner is always something fun to look forward to, and this time around, Oda had revealed what kind of Devil Fruit he’d pick for himself, something that he’s already answered once, but it seems his picks have slightly changed since, which is intriguing to many fans.

  • Oda Would Like The Suke Suke no Mi
  • Oda’s Answers Were Mostly For Comedic Relief

It is not a surprise to know that Oda is often asked about what kind of Devil Fruit he’d like to have. He’s been asked this question once before as well, but this time around, the question comes with an interesting twist. Instead of being asked about what Devil Fruit he would pick, the question has Oda pick two Devil Fruits for himself. Of course, as fans might know already, Blackbeard is the only one in the One Piece world with two Devil Fruits, so it is highly likely that this question is inspired by Blackbeard’s abilities. Here’s what the question that Oda tackled was:

Question: Oda-sensei, if you can eat two Devil Fruits, which one would you eat? I want to have the Clear Clear Fruit and the Rumble Rumble Fruit. I wonder if Oda-sensei would pick them too?

Oda: Eeeh! I can have two?! Clear Clear Fruit (absolutely) and which one…! Clear Clear Fruit (absolutely) and… uuuhh…!!!! Clear Clear Fruit (absolutely) and Warp Warp Fruit (objective decision)!! I-It’s so I can save people (nominal reason)!!

As is clear from Oda’s answers, this is more of a joke answer than a serious one. When asked what Devil Fruit he’d like, Oda names two, both of which lack power but are incredibly useful in other ways. Firstly, Oda states that he wants the power of the Suke Suke no Mi. This is no surprise as Oda has always maintained that he’d like this Devil Fruit. It allows the user to turn invisible and they can even extend their invisibility to other objects around them provided they are making physical contact with them. This Devil Fruit is extremely deadly. It was eaten by Absalom at one point in the story, and after him, it was consumed by none other than Shiryu, since the Blackbeard Pirates stole it from him.

The power to turn completely invisible! The Suke Suke no Mi! — Sanji

More than that, fans know that Oda had a rather weird obsession with being a peeping comedy in his story, and it seems the reason he wants the Devil Fruit in real life is just that. However, it must be said that it is likely a joke answer from Oda as he likes to make his fans laugh every now and then.

The second Devil Fruit that Oda clearly wants is the Wapu Wapu no Mi. This Devil Fruit is, once again, not that strong, but undoubtedly, the usability is sky-high. It allows the user to warp over certain distances. Anyone in contact with the user can also be warped, and that’s the special power of this Devil Fruit. It is unknown as to how far the user can warp, but it is likely to be limited by the clear vision of the eye. Currently, this Devil Fruit belongs to Van Augur, and fans know that they’ll see it again sooner rather than later.

As for why Oda wants this Devil Fruit, the answer is likely comedic to him once again. It is possibly because after turning invisible, the Wapu Wapu no Mi will allow him to warp away, making it a Deadly combo.

Oda Has Another Devil Fruit He Wants

Oda Would Like The Hana Hana no Mi

Interestingly enough, Oda has already answered the question of which Devil Fruit he’d pick in the real world once before. Back then too, Oda was consistent with his Suke Suke no Mi pick, which shouldn’t surprise any fan. It is clear that if there is one Devil Fruit that Oda would absolutely love to have, it is the Suke Suke no Mi.

Interviewer: I think you probably hear this question a lot but what Devil’s Fruit would you like to eat?

Oda: Purely as the dream of any man, I’d probably like to eat the Suke Suke Fruit. (laughs) But ultimately I’d probably want the Hana Hana Fruit. If I had lots of hands I could do my work much faster.

While Oda clearly stated that he would love to have the Suke Suke no Mi, he also acknowledges the fact that it isn’t practical to pick this Devil Fruit. Oda then reconsidered what he wanted and the answer was the Hana Hana no Mi. For those who don’t know, this is a Paramecia Type of Devil Fruit with immense power.

You don’t have to know what it means. Sanji is the man who is worthy of being the Wings of the Pirate King! — Robin

The name of the One Piece planet is revealed. This only adds to the deep One Piece lore.

It allows the user to sprout any limb or any other part of their body from anywhere within a certain vicinity, be it their own body, the terrain, or the body of the enemy. The user can also produce full clones, and even giant-sized versions of themselves. It is undoubtedly quite a bizarre Devil Fruit, but one of the most powerful indeed, especially as fans saw that in the Wano arc of the story.

The Most Powerful Devil Fruits In One Piece

The Gura Gura No Mi Is Among The Strongest

It goes without saying that the Suke Suke no Mi is very unique and that Oda wants it, but most fans would rather pick overpowered Devil Fruits for themselves. Powers like the Gura Gura no Mi are elite, and those such as the Pika Pika no Mi are immense. The Goro Goro no Mi is also known to be a fan favorite when it comes to abilities that the fans would want for themselves. At the end of the day, every fan of the story is different and have their own idea of which One Piece fruits they would consume.
