On Metacritic, both Monster Hunter Wilds and Monster Hunter Worlds sit with a score of 90. There’s nothing strange about that; plenty of games score a 90 on the aggregation platform. However, in a strange coincidence, when you drill down into the platform-specific review scores, both Wilds and World are completely parallel.
The two games have both scored a 90 on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox platforms, with PC falling a little behind, getting an 88 from both. It’s a weird coincidence, but these review scores are nothing if not a sign of the golden era of Capcom that we’re in and the quality of games the company has been putting out for the last few years.
