Daredevil has been one of Marvel’s most popular characters since his debut in 1964. Over the years, this blind acrobat has starred in a movie and a television show, yet he has appeared in very few video games. This is surprising, considering that the super-powered lawyer would be an ideal fit for an open-world brawler.

Marvel: 5 Strongest Versions Of Daredevil
Marvel’s Daredevil has taken many forms over the years. These are the strongest versions of the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen.
Despite not featuring in many solo games, Daredevil has still managed to make an appearance in some of Marvel’s other video game franchises. He is a big part of the shared comics universe and is the perfect character to highlight the fun that could be had with him and the rest of Marvel’s street-level heroes.
Updated March 4, 2025, by Melody MacReady: Marvel Studios is revisiting the streets of Hell’s Kitchen by reintroducing Kingpin, Punisher, Bullseye, and, of course, Daredevil in the upcoming series Daredevil: Born Again on Disney+, starring Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio. As a result, the titular hero is experiencing a resurgence in popularity, which may lead some fans to seek out video games featuring The Man Without Fear. Thankfully, numerous superhero games have included Daredevil as a playable character, ranging from mobile games to dungeon-crawling RPGs that highlight his impressive skills as both a defender of New York City and arguably the best lawyer in the Marvel universe.

Daredevil
Side-Scroller Based On The Ben Affleck Movie
Remaining the only solo Daredevil game to this point is the Game Boy Advance release that was tied into the 2003 film of the same name. The game is loosely based on the movie’s plot, with some of the major characters from the comics also making an appearance. This side-scrolling beat-’em-up and platformer features Matt Murdock’s mentor, Stick, as well as the villain Kirigiri. This antagonist believes Daredevil is in league with the Kingpin and so sends the Hand after the hero.
While Daredevil gets some points for being a rare solo outing for Marvel’s beloved lawyer, the game itself is unfortunately well below average due to its clunky combat and poor visuals. The GBA has plenty of underwhelming license games that are just by-the-numbers side-scrolling beat ’em ups, and Daredevil fits comfortably in this bracket.

As a single-player mobile game for IOS and Android, Marvel Strike Force has players face off against famous heroes and villains from Marvel in an attempt to unlock more usable characters in classic turn-based RPG gameplay. Since it is a mobile game, the plot is fairly thin, but it is free to play and gamers can level up certain characters and unlock new moves.
To unlock Daredevil in the game, players must achieve three stars or collect up to 100 shards. The character plays as many fans would expect, utilizing street-level combat, martial arts, and occasionally throwing his baton. At the highest level, this baton throw can do an additional 200% damage to enemies and when teamed up with fellow Defenders and certain other heroes, he is given combat perks.

T For Teen due to Mild Language, Violence
Daredevil has appeared in every Marvel Ultimate Alliance game, appearing on the base roster from the start for anyone to play. The dungeon-crawling superhero game makes Daredevil all about his escrima sticks and acrobatics, which makes him perfect at short to mid-range combat.
The only downside to Daredevil is that he has little to no story in Marvel Ultimate Alliance aside from a few unique interactions with villains and other heroes, like with the Bullseye encounter aboard the U.N.N. Alpha. However, that doesn’t stop the character from being any less fun to use in the cosmic adventure to stop the evils of Doctor Doom and the Masters Of Evil.

Daredevil And The Defenders Get Their Own Segment
The character’s biggest role in the Ultimate Alliance series has been in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order, where players get to unlock the character in the second level, which is based on The Defenders street team. Once again, he is a close-up brawler with special moves that allow him to swing his baton, throw them as projectiles, and perform acrobatic attacks on his foes.

Developed by Electronic Arts, Marvel Nemesis: Rise Of The Imperfects puts a new spin on the fighting game experience. Rather than a 2D plane, Marvel characters run around in a 3D space in a blend of tournament fighting and beat ’em up action. Since this is a fighting game that takes place in a darker version of the Marvel universe, it only makes sense that Daredevil appears as a playable character.
Daredevil is one of the few Marvel heroes still living in Marvel Nemesis: Rise Of The Imperfects, featuring a post-apocalyptic New York under attack by the titular Imperfects, a group of original characters. Daredevil is nimble and acrobatic like Electra and Spider-Man, able to leap over his opponents with ease or fight them with aerial attacks.
