How To Grow Beanstalks In Hello Kitty Island Adventure

Upon starting Hello Kitty Island Adventure, you’ll be able to explore Friendship Island, which consists of five main zones. Through questing though, you’ll be able to unlock three additional areas that are full of new things to look at and collect. One unlockable area that you’ll encounter is the Merry Meadows.

Hello Kitty Island Adventure: Revive The Oasis Quest Walkthrough

Revive the Oasis is an important quest in Hello Kitty Island Adventure that adds some fresh water to Gemstone Mountain. Here’s how to complete it.

After completing Revive the Oasis, you’ll unlock the quest called Curious Caverns, which unlocks the Merry Meadows. From here though, not all of the Meadow is available for you to explore; you’ll need to use Giant Seeds to grow Beanstalks to reach new locations. Here, you can learn how to get these seeds and grow Beanstalks.

How To Get Your First Giant Seed

When you first explore the Merry Meadows, you’ll be on the lowest level. Fortunately, there is a Giant Seed that can easily be obtained. Looking at the map, you’ll see the water area, with several small landmasses. The first Giant Seed will be on a central landmass here; you can just approach and immediately pick it up.

Where To Plant Giant Seeds

Giant Seeds can be planted on large dirt patches found around Merry Meadows. These spots are quite noticeable and when you interact with one, you’ll have the option to plant a Giant Seed (if you’re holding one).

How To Grow Beanstalks

In order to water the planted seed, you’ll need the Watering Can, which is initially obtained through the quest called Flower Power. This quest unlocks once you’ve completed the following requirements.

Once these have been completed, you can talk to My Melody and learn about the Watering Can. The quest is relatively short; you’ll just need to water a few flowers and then make the can for yourself.

With your own Watering Can, you can then successfully plant Giant Seeds and water them for three days in a row.

You can miss a day of watering; it won’t grow more during the missed day, but it also won’t shrink.

Other Giant Seed Locations

Besides the first one found, Giant Seeds aren’t the easiest to find. In total, you’ll find five (including the first one mentioned above). Below, you can check out how to obtain the other four Giant Seeds in Hello Kitty Island Adventure.

Seed Location	Notes
Care Packages Quest	This quest unlocks after reaching friendship level 12 with Wish Me Mell. Through this quest, Wish Me Mell will require a variety of goodies for some care packages. In the end, Cinnamoroll will give you a Giant seed that he found.
Electric Introductions (Puzzle Room)	This is a puzzle room located on the layer just above the plaza (this is the central island with three cabins). To get here, you’ll need to plant a beanstalk in a dirt patch north of the cabins. From here, the Puzzle Room will be to the left. The Giant Seed is in a chest that serves as the main reward, so you’ll get it once you complete the puzzle.
South of Outer Cloud Cabins	This is only available if you have Cloud Island unlocked. Cloud Cabins is a quest that unlocks visitor cabins. Once the quest has been completed, you can jump south from the Outer Cloud Cabin area (this is near the right-most mailbox). This also requires you to have some sort of balloon-boosting ability, such as a Thermal Potion. After jumping, continue south until you reach a little island with the Giant Seed inside a chest. On the map, this is a small island attached to the rainbow pathway.
North of Outer Cloud Cabins	This is only available if you have Cloud Island unlocked. North of the Outer Cloud Cabins area, you’ll see a chain of three islands. The Giant Seed is found around the edge of the northmost island. The seed will only appear after you break a corresponding boulder in Merry Meadows. The boulder is located in the Gazebo area of the Merry Meadows, partially covering a place where Giant Seeds can be planted.

Two of these seeds are found in Cloud Island. If you don’t have access to this location yet, you will need to wait in order to get the Giant Seeds here.

Beanstalk-Growing Locations

Lastly, let’s go over the locations where you can plant the Giant Seeds that you find. Each location has been marked on the map above, as well as noted in the table below.

1	Merry Meadows Fields This is the first spot you’ll come across, in between the two lower waterfalls.
2	Merry Meadows Plaza This is on a bit of land across the water going north from the three central cabins.
3	Merry Meadows Overlook This is right near where the previous Beanstalk placed you. You’ll be able to see the patch of dirt nearby on the map.
4	Meadows Creation Station (this is the name of the mailbox here, to the left of the Gazebo area) To reach this spot, you’ll need some sort of jump/balloon boost. This includes Kuromi or Pompompurin’s abilities combined with a Thermal Potion.
5	Meadows Gazebo This is right near where the previous Beanstalk placed you. At first, a boulder will be blocking the spot, but you can break this with your pickaxe. Once you break the boulder, you can then go and obtain the Giant Seed that appears in Cloud Island.
