EA Sports has been changing how Evolutions work in EA Sports FC 25. One new addition in the game is Training Camp Evolutions, which are completed in different ways to the standard ones.

These Training Camp Evolutions work in a similar way to a lot of mechanics in mobile games, with stuff happening on your account while you’re not even playing or logged in. They’re usually added in an attempt to keep you coming back to check what’s going on, being rewarded slightly each time.
Training Camp Evolutions, Explained
Unlike normal Evolutions in EA Sports FC 25, you don’t actually need to play the game to complete Training Camp Evolutions. They work like crafting in mobile games that continue to work while your phone is in your pocket.
You choose a player to evolve, wait for a specific amount of time, and return to claim the upgrade. The upgrades for Training Camp Evolutions tend to be smaller than for standard Evolutions, giving players things like new roles, positions, and playstyles.
After putting the player into the Evolution, you will have to wait somewhere between a few hours and a few days, and then claim the completed item upgrade.
How To Start And Complete Training Camp Evolutions
Unlike most Evolutions in EA Sports FC 25, you cannot start or complete Evolutions from the main game on console or PC.
Instead, you need to download and open the EA Sports FC 25 Companion App. Once you’ve logged in, look for the Evolutions tile on the first screen. In there, find the Training Camp tab at the top, and select the Evolution you want to start.
You just need to choose the player you want to evolve, confirm it, and wait for the time that’s specified one the Evolutions description screen.
Much like any other Evolutions in EA Sports FC 25, players become untradeable once they’re put into Training Camp Evolutions.
Once the time has passed, open up the Companion App again, head to the Evolution, and claim the upgrade. If not enough time has passed, you’ll be shown how long is left until the player is yours again.
