Dinosaurus
A Mad Dinosaur Scientist, Hellbent on Saving the World Through Destruction
- First Appearance: Invincible #68 (November, 2009)
- Created by: Robert Kirkman, Ryan Ottley
Dinosaurus is a true threat to the Invincible saga, and his impending arrival will only further damage Invincible’s reputation and morality as he deems it an ideal situation to work with a villain. Dinosaurus may be incredibly intelligent and powerful, but his methods of saving the world always result in destruction of property and humanity.
Dinosaurus believes that the only way to save humanity is to reduce its population, which comes with flooding the world, blowing up vast capitals like Las Vegas, and even halting rebuilding projects after the Invincible War. Yet, his genius allures Invincible into becoming an ally, a decision that Mark will regret forever.

- Created by: Robert Kirkman, Ryan Ottley
Universa comes from a planet far from Earth, and wielding her Staff of Leadership, she travels the stars in search of energy to siphon to bring home to her dying planet. Her planet, while unnamed, needs energy to survive, and Earth is the perfect hotspot to save her species from its destruction, but does she come in peace?

Invincible: Strongest Female Characters, Ranked
Among its roster of heroes and villains, Invincible contains quite a few powerful female characters.
Universa’s role might be minor, but it’s an interesting arc that involves yet another alien invader coming to a planet in search of its resources, will Mark Grayson understand the peril that Universa faces, and justify her aggression when she inevitably arrives?

Tech Jacket
A Highschooler With an Immensely Powerful and Alien Suit of Armor
- First Appearance: Tech Jacket #1 (October, 2002)
- First Invincible Appearance: Invincible #71 (April, 2010)
- Created by: Robert Kirkman, E. J. Su
When Zack Thompson discovers a dying alien and is imbued with the Geldarian’s suit of armor, he takes on the superhero responsibility of Tech Jacket to fight intergalactic crime, or the crime in his neighborhood. While Tech Jacket isn’t an original character within the Invincible world, he is part of the universe, and his arc is important going forward as Mark heads into space in later seasons.
The trio of Allen, Mark, and Zack is brilliant, so it would be nice to see Tech Jacket appear alongside his fellow defenders as they battle it out against the Viltrumites that await them in deep space, but trademark and right issues might not be so simple.

Tether Tyrant & Magmaniac
A Duo of Villains With Deeper Connections Than What’s Been Shown So Far
- First Appearance: Invincible #19 (November, 2004)
- Created by: Robert Kirkman, Ryan Ottley
This one might not exactly be far, since Tether Tyrant and Magmaniac have actually appeared in the animated series already. While the two have shared screen time and even an intimate moment to showcase their relationship, they have been unvoiced and thus unimportant to the story, but hopefully, that changes soon.
While Magmaniac is less important to the villainy of the duo, he’s still a catalyst for what’s to come with Tether Tyrant, a man who bonds with an alien organism to instill great power – but after the loss of the man closest to him, what will become of the alien relationship, and will this sentient parasite serve its own interest, or that of Tether Tyrant?

Space Racer
An Alien With a Space Bike and an Invincible Gun
- First Appearance: Invincible #35 (September, 2006)
- Created by: Robert Kirkman, Ryan Ottley
Sure, Space Racer has technically appeared through a montage of flashbacks in Season 3, but he’s still a character of immense importance later in the comics who has yet to do anything past a brief cameo, nor does he have an established voice yet. Hopefully, that comes soon, as Space Racer is pretty cool.
Space Racer is an alien who rides through the galaxy on his space motorcycle, and uses a gun like no other – a gun so powerful that it can kill Viltrumites and destroy planets. Space Racer isn’t just a fictional character in one of Nolan’s stories, but an actual space-exploring hero who is going to be very important for the Viltrumite War.

Grand Regent Thragg
The Leader of the Viltrumites Who Seeks Argall’s Heir
- First Appearance: Invincible Returns (April, 2010)
- Created by: Robert Kirkman, Ryan Ottley
No Viltrumite is as imposing or as powerful as Grand Regent Thragg. This Viltrumite seeks the heir of Argall, but in the meantime, relishes in his responsibility as a leader to the most powerful species in the galaxy that has no equal. Every Viltrumite bows to Thragg, and when Thragg finally arrives, perhaps in Season 4 of Invincible, fans are going to need to fear him.

Viltrimites are among the strongest characters in Invincible, but these non-Viltrimite characters can stand their ground against them.
Thragg has immense power within each punch, and bargaining with him is not possible. His cold and calculating status makes him a man built to conquer, and this Viltrumite will not seek peace through anything but the bent knee of all civilizations beneath him.
2
Monax Zaxal
The Son of Monster Girl and Flaxan Royalty
- First Appearance: Invincible #93 (July, 2012)
- Created by: Robert Kirkman, Ryan Ottley
When Amanda and Rudy (Monster Girl & Robot) are transported into the Flaxan Dimension, they begin one of the most ominous and interesting arcs of the entire series. While years have passed on Earth, it has been centuries for the duo, who have lived countless lives as rebels and rulers, except Amanda doesn’t want to rule with slaves at her heel, so she rebels against Rudy.
Amanda ends up having a son via an affair with Flaxan royalty, Zall Zaxal, in her Monster Girl form (which is biologically male). This makes Monster Girl the father of Monax, a Flaxan invader who ventures to Earth with a grudge against his father and his would-be killer, Robot.
1
Terra Grayson
The Daughter of Mark and Eve
- First Appearance: Invincible #113 (August, 2014)
- Created by: Robert Kirkman, Ryan Ottley
Terra Grayson is one of the last characters to feature in Invincible, and arguably one of the most important. Terra Grayson is the daughter of Invincible and Atom Eve, and becomes a great responsibility for the duo moving forward in their adult lives as they navigate the galaxy and try to protect their daughter from both the Coalition of Planets and the Viltrumites.
Terra is an innocent young girl, often subjected to the cruelty of war, but her willingness to fight by her mother and father’s side when she grows up shows that there is much room for her character when she’s finally introduced later down the line.
