A big Fortnite event is due to start soon, the Fortnite Lantern Fest 2025! While it isn’t quite a game wide event, Epic has been doing more and more for this holiday in recent years. The Fortnite Lantern Fest has a lot for players to dig into this year. From special experiences in-game, through to skins that are going to be in the game.
Each year we get these events, although Fortnite Lantern Fest tends to happen at different times as does the holiday it aligns with. This year, Lantern Fest is happening in early March. It’s already begun in-game and will run for the rest of the week. It won’t be around until the Fortnite season ends though, so you’ll need to act quick if you want to test out everything Fortnite Lantern Fest 2025 has to offer.

New Map

The big thing for gameplay in the Fortnite Lantern Fest 2025 is a new map that’s launched. It’s called Desert vs Sea. It’s the Lantern Fest 2025 Island. In gameplay, it’s quite familiar to other maps. You chose one of two sides, the desert or the sea. Then have team fights. There’s extra abilities like doubling up HP, doubling damage, and even invisibility.
As well as fighting, a level of the map is dedicated to riddles. Which is definitely unique compared to the deathmatch modes players use to grind Fortnite XP. The code for this map is 7286-4717-1963. It’ll be available past the end of Lantern Fest too.
Fortnite Lantern Fest Cup
To celebrate the new stuff coming for Lantern Fest, Fortnite is holding a new tournament. While it isn’t a cash tournament, it’ll be fun to compete still. This will be an in-game tournament where players can compete to earn the Noorah Outfit that’s returning to the item shop.
Radiant Moon Bundle Returns

The new Fortnite Lantern Fest 2025 isn’t going to be giving away free Fortnite skins, but we are getting the themed skins from previous seasons back. The Radiant moon bundle will be returning to the Fortnite item shop.
This is the Noorah outfit and the Anwar outfit. Both are available until March 6th, which is when things end.
