One of the core parts of Monster Hunter Wilds, like all Monster Hunter games, is gathering materials to build new weapons and armor, and one crucial ingredient is Monster Fluid.
This sometimes elusive crafting material can be a little tricky to get a hold of, and you might find yourself looking far and wide and coming up with no Monster Fluid. Luckily, we’re here to help – here’s how to get Monster Fluid in Monster Hunter Wilds.

How To Get Monster Fluid In Monster Hunter Wilds
Despite the name, Monster Fluid isn’t found on monsters in Monster Hunter Wilds, for the most part at least. Instead you need to be looking towards the insectoid variants of small monsters to get your Monster Fluid fix.
These include Bulaqchi, Vespoids, Nerscylla Hatchlings, Comaqchi, and other insectoids, but Bulaqchi and Nerscylla Hatchlings are probably your best bet.
Monster Fluid is a vital ingredient in crafting some early game weapons and equipment, so it’s worth having. The best way to gather it is to kill Bulaqchi, either during optional quests, or Nerscylla Hatchlings during the Nerscylla fight. Nerscylla Hatchlings are especially good, as there’s often dozens of the little spider monsters moving around at any given time.

In case you’re wondering, the Nerscylla hunt is unlocked midway through the second chapter of Monster Hunter Wilds. But if you’re not yet there, the Bulaqchi, who are available to hunt from the very start of the game, are a good choice.
Monster Fluid is also a reward for completing optional quests that feature the insectoid creatures listed above as targets.

How To Find Missing Materials in Monster Hunter Wilds
If you’re ever struggling to find materials to upgrade armor or weapons in Monster Hunter Wilds, you can check the monster information in-game to see which materials they drop. Usually, the ingredients and their locations are fairly self explanatory (ores from mining outcrops, monster parts from their named monster). But it’s best to double check in your monster guide or with NPCs to make sure you can find the materials you need.
